No, it was a fixed event. It always happened, Bran just didn't experience it until then.

i dont see it as him changing anything.... at least thats what i think the point is they are getting across... hodor went crazy back then and now we are seeing why, he technically doesnt change anything.

I'm beginning to wonder if in the Tower of Joy
Bran sees Jon being born and says 'Jon' out loud... giving Ned the name, thus the reveal :sly:

If he's not Coldhands or a variation then they better have

    a) a reasonable explanation for how he survived this long.

    b) a bloody purpose i.e. not just coming across them by chance.

[BLACKOUT] Perhaps it's White Hodor? His condition prevented the Night King from controlling him..?[/BLACKOUT]

That sounds encouraging. Why else leave after escorting them to the wall?

Your friend wouldn't be able to help a brother out re Lady Stoneheart? She shouldn't be up for discussion this season but there's too many pieces in place.

you don't need to burn a body when it's torn to pieces. why would they bring back a wight Hodor (who somehow can now ride a horse) to save Bran and Meera after a death like that?

    and TheFuture... No.

Someone else gets ressurected by a Red Priest in the Riverlands, and things go...pear shaped for a bunch of those involved with the Stoneheart plot from the books.

Does McShane's cult of peace wipeout the Brotherhood?

I heard that alright, hope it's not true.

I thought the actor for Rikard looked like Jon. Nice touch.

McShane is playing Meribald the same way Teddy Sears is playing "Jay Garrick". Ain't no peace for anyone, cept for the peace of the grave.

D&D say Hodor's name revelation is from Martin and not a show-only creation:

And Weiss confirms that BloodRaven transferred all his knowledge to Bran before he died:

Kingsmoot was one of my favourite scenes in the books, the show version was a let down, especially when followed by a writing cameo from Marc Guggenheim with Dany and Jorah.

How about them doing that play which was fun for a bit but then reminded Arya of who she really was... could have been deep... but then they decided on a weird close up of a warty penis :lmao:

So clearly now Bran will go south of the Wall. Carrying that ww mark, breaking the Wall's magic. thus allowing the Ww to destroy it.

    Poor Edd.....

I didn't even realize until much later that Richard E. Grant was in that scene.

Lol I read it in their voices. Dave's exasperated and trying to rein in an overly excited Dan lol lol

Is it bad that the first thing that came to mind with the dick shot - is that Peyronie's or is it a paraphimosis?

Not quite. He confirmed that they were "trying" to do that once BloodRaven realized they were out of time, and obviously this process was interrupted in rather short order by the attack. I don't think it can be assumed that Bran has it all now.
