Yeah, someone gets ******** when we talk about women and deletes the posts in the Lounge too. We still don't know who.

Apparently its wrong to think certain features on the opposite sex are attractive. When a man compliments a woman's legs or eyes or breasts or ass its objectifying them because you didnt verbally state that of course you recognize that the person is a person and not just a set of **** or glutes.

But if I said that Henry Cavil had an awesome six pack or that the Rock has some ****ing sexy biceps, well, thats perfectly fine.

I guess we men should preface every single complementary remark about a woman's physical features with a disclaimer that we recognize she is a whole person with a personality so no one gets offended.

Given that the mods didn't delete anything, and TheFuture was merely confused about which thread he was in, could you guys stop complaining?

Apologies for my paranoia mods, couldn't remember where I made that post.

You don't see the difference between talking about a male's biceps and six packs and talking about a woman's breast or bottom?

I'd say the problem is it is rather overkill here. Like a woman's body? That is one thing. But it goes a bit farther then that here. That we know it makes some of the female posters here, some of the best posters on this site, uncomfortable, should be more then enough to make us tone it down. Or is Chivalry dead?

lol what is this thread for? book readers? thats so 20th century

Lol there were like... 3 posts talking about it. Seems like you're simply making that post to find a way to be... what is it you are trying to do? lol

Anyways.. .Slick, yeah completely agree... please don't milk it for multiple episodes lol... but watch D&D start it in ep 3 and not come back to it until ep 6

I was. You specifically said you guys, so i figured i was included.

Well.. I was excited to get the new EW issue... but its next Friday not tomorrow LOL

Women are as attracted to a man's features as a man is attracted to a womans features whether it be muscles, ass, breasts, physique, legs etc. A person can be just as turned on by or attracted to a man's muscles, ass, or physique as a person can be attracted to a woman's legs, ass, hourglass shape etc. So no I dont recognize there being a difference between a person being attracted to a man's muscular arms or physique and a person being attracted to a womans legs or ass. These attractions are due to the same biological and psychological functions regardless of gender or the feature being admired of appreciated. How the person handles or deals with or acts on that attraction concerns me much more.

If a Hypster says Gal Gadot has amazing legs or Alexandra Daddario or Henry Cavil has a great ass I dont see a problem with that. Its just harmless normal attraction. But if the person starts obsessing over or saying creepy **** about a person and their features. Such as if a hypster said they would want to do this or that to a celebrity in disturbing detail or discusses stuff theyd want to do with a person's body part and acting as if the person is an object to just be used superficially and sexually. I fully agree that sort of thing iz stepping over into uncomfortable and inappropriate territory especially for this forum.

I recognize that there are some creepy comments on this forum no doubt and some genuinely stalker-esque comments from some posters that do need to be curtailed and toned down, but posters who are just attracted to a star or celebrity commenting on a particular feature on that star should be fine. Thats all I mean.

But Phantasm is right. We should get this thread back on track. Lets get back to GOT.

:)

You know who has a nice ass and should be nude on GoT?

Me.

Have yall read this?

Fan theory: Hodor may have been a skinchanger who stayed in his animals so much that he lost part of himself or his animal was killed and it destroyed part of his mind.

A new theory is sweeping the Internet, and it could even make Hodor say “damn.”

Besides the whole Jon Snow thing on Sunday’s episode of “Game of Thrones,” there was one other moment that was almost as shocking:

Hodor talked.

And by talked, we mean he said a hella lot more than “Hodor.”

In the scene, which was one of Bran’s visions into the past, we see Hodor, whose real name is apparently Willis, actually talk to Ned Stark’s sister, Lyanna. Sure, he’s probably not the sharpest sword in the armory, but he’s savvy enough to pick up on a young Benjen Stark’s fighting tendencies.

Bran was as surprised as us to discover that Hodor could talk, so how did Willis become the Hodor we know and love today?

Well, Redditors gbinasia and TazoGreenTea have a theory that seems so ridiculous, it actually makes sense.

The theory: Hodor was a warg and stayed in his animal so long that he lost himself.

Whoa-dor.

According to the theory, Hodor was a warg/skinchanger as a kid, but he may have spent too much time in his animal, causing him to lose a part of himself (something Jojen Reed once warned Bran about).

There’s also the possibility that Hodor’s animal was killed while he was warging into it, which is a traumatic event for a skinchanger. This could’ve led him to lose his mind.

But if Hodor was a warg, what animal would he change into? Gbinasia explains that the obvious choice is Lyanna’s horse:

As a stable boy, it would make sense that his choice would be to warg into a horse since, like dogs, they are docile and are accustomed to his presence. And if the (possibly) only girl treating him nicely was Lyanna, it would make complete sense that this is the horse he would warg into.
From the books, we know Lyanna died at the Tower of Joy. Could Hodor, as her horse, have died there, as well? Or was he perhaps killed in some battle? Is this the real reason Hodor became ... well ... Hodor?

The evidence:

1. A whole section in George R.R. Martin’s books compares Hodor to a horse.

Redditor PliersD3 points out that in Martin’s second book in the Song of Ice and Fire series, A Clash of Kings, Hodor is straight-up called a horse:

Little Walder cast his splintered lance aside, spied Bran, and reined up. “Now there’s an ugly horse,” he said of Hodor.

“Hodor’s no horse,” Bran said.
“Hodor,” said Hodor.
Big Walder trotted up to join his cousin. “Well, he’s not as smart as a horse, that’s for certain.”
Is this a hint into the truth about Hodor?

There’s more, too. Little Walder even speculates that Hodor means “I love you” in horse. Plus, in Martin’s novel, A Game of Thrones, there’s a line where Maester Luwin says, “Hodor is a man, not a mule to be beaten.”

Uh, no offense, Luwin, but this theory begs to differ, bruh.

2. Hodor has taken on the characteristics of a horse.

After Bran loses the use of his legs in the book, he’s often described as riding around on Hodor’s back. Also, Hodor appears to fear the dark and lightning like horses might, as revealed in this excerpt from A Storm of Swords:

The lightning flashed again, and this time the thunder came at six. “Hodor!” Hodor yelled again. “HODOR! HODOR!” He snatched up his sword, as if to fight the storm.

3. Wargs can lose their minds when their animals are killed.

A precedent has already been set for when a warg’s animal is killed. In Martin’s books, Melisandre kills an eagle that has a wildling warg in it. The wildling goes mad because of it, losing control of his other animals.

4. The three-eyed raven has been watching Hodor all along.

Redditor TazoGreenTea brings up a scene from Season 4 where the three-eyed raven tells Hodor, Bran and Meera, “I’ve been watching you — all of you — all of your lives.”

Why would the raven be watching Hodor if there wasn’t a reason to? Did Hodor once have visions like Bran did?

In the Bran flashback scene, we see Lyanna on a horse, Hodor talking and the three-eyed raven warning Bran not to stay in visions too long. It seems a little random, but if the theory is true, then it all makes sense. If Bran stays in visions or wargs for too long, he may lose himself like Hodor.

When The Huffington Post once asked George R.R. Martin about the origins of Hodor, he wouldn’t reveal the answer. Could this theory be the reason why Hodor is Hodor? Or are we barking up the wrong Hodor?

The only thing we know for sure is “Hodor.”

I just assumed he gets kicked in the head by a horse. They kind of pushed that stable line on us.

After reading that I now feel bad for talking **** about Kit lying about Jon. Sounds like the whole experience was really uncomfortable for him, and he sounds like a really nice guy.

Very few might have bought Kit and D&D and HBO's lies but Ill give them :up: for putting in the effort.

Its cool that they didnt even tell Nutter that Jon was coming back.

Oh and I had either completely forgotten or never found out that Kit and Rose were dating. Thats cute.

I haven't gotten to read it yet, but the anger people have towards him for lying is simply ignorant. And the bit about him having to lie to his friends in the cast an all... Sophie wrote him a letter... Yea kudos for the dedication and screw the people who are mad at him or D&D for that matter.

but still...

:hehe:

I like when he was talking about having to give a goodbye speech and he said "its some of the worst acting Ive ever done, and thats saying something." And him describing himself as a bumbling english bafoon...

:hehe:

It was a stupid cliffhanger to begin with. They shouldn't have made him lie. They could have handled all that better.

This question:

EW: "How big a season is this for Jon moving forward?"

Kit: "Its the biggest season for him so far. There is one episode this season, which is Jon's story, and thats the most epic episode we've done."

Is he saying that particular episode is Jon's story like how he came to be and who he really is and that it is epic, Or does he mean this whole season is Jon's story and one episode in particular is epic?

Cause if he means that the epic episode is about Jon's story then its gotta be the Tower of Joy episode. R+L=J is coming, brothers! The night is almost over!:awesome:

How is it a stupid cliffhanger? It happens in the books.

Whats stupid is the obsessive people who get zooming lenses to stalk people on set. they should be arrested.

I mean what were they (including Kit) supposed to do? Just tell the truth? Yea I get resurrected next season dont worry guys!

Nah... I think Jon's big episode is the battle of winterfell. if hes saying its the most epic episode they have done, it won't be an episode 3 reveal like that IMO.

I guess it depends on what Kit considers more epic. Blood guts and action or the story and history of his character. You're probably right tho. It probably is the battle episode, but I hope episode 3 is epic in its own way. Im so damn excited for this weeks episode!

yea just depends on his idea of epic... he reads the books (though i dont think he is caught up) so maybe for him it really is the most epic.

Kit did state that his favourite part of the novels was the flashback to Dumbledore's conflict with Gellert Grindelwald, so we may see some Elder Wand action in the episodes to come.

Roose is having a stroke someone call an ambulance.
