I think they can do it sooner than 10. People are becoming fairly immune to the quick reboot (e.g Spider-Man).

I think he was saying that we'll be lucky if GRRM will have finished the series in 10 years, since there wouldn't be a reason to do another adaptation until GRRM finishes his books.

That makes sense, but I figure a movie would get them a better budget.

I'm still wondering what the hell is happening with the next lot of graphic novel adaptations though.

They're working on the Mystery Knight right now.

She gets younger every season. Not to mention hotter. :hrt: :ilv:

Not going to lie even if I knew that the amulet was the one thing keeping her looking like that instead of a giant flesh colored prune, I still would. Naimsayin?.

man she looks so good with her natural hair color

those eyes....

Kit is a lucky man... you know it.. i know it.. the world knows it... he hit it.

Mystery Knight was in flux because of some HBO and Amazon malarkey last I saw on GRRMs blog.

I tried my best to look for it on his blog but failed, think you can give it a shot? :csad:

Thanks Reek! Digging through old blog posts can be a pain in the ass, thanks for finding it for me. That's one of them, hopefully I can find the others.

Thanks Reek!

Dude, I thought you we're talking about the graphic novel? The link Reek gave, doesn't have anything that goes againts the upcoming graphic novel. It seems we're talking about two different things?

i'm a hot little potato right now.

Well, the Dunk & Egg graphic novels are in the same legal state that A Clash of Kings GN adaptation is in. That link partially covers it, but Reek is better at finding things like that than I am. I'm still digging.

i'm a hot little potato right now.

You always are.

The only thing it talks about is that Dunk & Egg can't be made into television unless its HBO and if HBO wants to do that, they'd need to buy the stories first.

Nothing about the Mystery Knight comic not happening.

I'm an angry little potato on the verge of rioting. Lack of Grejoy in the summaries is giving me Dornish flashbacks.

Well they also have no Jon in the summaries...

Jon's still a pretty big character going into the endgame. My chief concern is that Euron's a throwaway character to get Dany to Westeros.

i think it is safe to say episode 10 (69 minutes) will be Dany setting sail finally

They didn't really need to bring Euron in to do that in the show as there's nothing that says Dany has to use the Greyjoys to return home. Euron himself, at least if they choose to actually look at the novels for once, is set up as an incredibly important villain with ties to the supernatural. Dany has dreams and visions of his coming since the second novel. Going by the books at least he should be a last "human" villain the series has before the Long Night occurs and serve as a bridge between the political and the supernatural.

That's what should happen. But then again maybe D&D want to give him the Doran treatment for ****s and giggles. Aeron Damphair at the very least seems to be getting the Hotah treatment.

Euron dies next ep... sorry to burst your little bitty bubble

and its off screen.

The episode begins with Euron's body washing up during the Kingsmoot and cutting to a close up on Asha smiling.

He's currently still alive and befriending a cripple, though his brother Victarion Greyjoy was hanged by Dany in the streets of Nassau.
