the botchling in the north... the prince that was truly promised.
I wonder why they never went into a bit of depth about it. it's a pretty important part of the Tully history with mothers and their sons... but its D&D so.
They could have easily cut back on the Dorne stuff to make room for some Tully flashbacks. This was the year of secret origins, imagine Bran seeing the other big one. Think of how great a scene that would have been. They could have even shown Robb pushing Bran from the window.
The theory of Robb being Rickons dad is pretty freaking solid IMO... GRRM hinted at it a few times in an interview. I would have to find it. but its pretty disturbing,
So Amazon France said Winds is out March 9 lol... meanwhile a little Roosey bird told me recently GRRM said come june/july for cons he'd prob still be writing Winds.
So much for getting it out before season 6. He clearly wasn't close, but people will still keep believing it. I am getting to the point where I believe he doesn't have much of a book at all.
I need to point out, that GRRM didn't say he was going to be still writing Winds by next June/July. Someone asked him if he was going to be at some con (name escapes me) for next June/July and GRRM said something along the lines of "I'm not making any commitments to any conventions or events until Winds is done."
