Charlie Hunnam has smashed the dreams of fan casters seemingly though I wouldn't have pictured him as Rhaegar. Aleksander Skaarsgard is more what I would have imagined.
From what I recall, it was a point GRRM was trying to make that because people were generally smaller during medieval that tall men like the Baratheon brothers would be seen as larger than life. So yeah, hopefully they'd keep Robert being massive and well built. He was around 6'6 in the books.
I've seen Cavill mentioned before for a young Robert. I'd definitely be curious to see how he'd handle Robert's hulking presence and boisterousness.
I don't think anyone has gotten to the bottom of what Cavill is capable of. Guy Richie probably has come closest. So I'm for him getting any opportunity.
God, thats a massive chest. I guess anatomically that would be like a dragon's furnace so the bigger the chest the more flames it can produce in one bellow.
I wonder what scene that is? I didnt think we would see Drogon or Dany in battle until she [blackout]went North to save Jon. [/blackout] The fighters are wearing steel westerosi armor and red under shirts. Ooo, I wonder if we will get to see Dany roast some Lannisters outside of King's Landing?
It looks like there is water at the very bottom of the screen so I guess this is when she first lands in Westeros.
I would look at it as being more desperate to serve her god rather than genuinely becoming a fervent believer in Dany. Sure she may blow some smoke up Dany's behind but deep down she'll still believe Jon is the one (I mean it was through Jon her faith was restored and actually had a vision come to fruition).
Mel must serve someone to further the cause of her god. Without doing so she is just an old woman who has lived far longer than she should have....now without a purpose and left to the torture of the acts she has committed.
I really think the show has done a good job of conveying that in the last 2 seasons or so, with Mel is becoming a favourite of mine on the show. CvH deserves major props for that.
