But, if the cops are after Batman I think we can safely assume that there will be some legal stuff. I'd personally rather see the female DA Janice Porter. Could be interesting.

Woah just checked out the main site and heard the news. This seems a bit too soon though doesn't it? Nolan hasn't finished Inception yet, so that means he'll be doing nearly two films at once.

Hopefully everyone from BB and TDK are still involved.

Yea im not believing this until theres more official confirmation... And to be honest I hope it isn't true. It seems too rushed. Especially if Nolan is coming back. I also hope its released in 2012. 2011 is way too packed.

I'm sort of nervous about this too. I'd warmed up to the idea we wouldn't get BB3 until 2012 and Nolan would get a nice long break after Inception. Now it feels like there won't be enough time between the two movies. I don't want Nolan to rush this. Plus, like you said, there's going to be a lot of competition in 2011.

Even with all the competition in 2011, none of those films will preform as well as a third Batman. Green Lantern, Spider-Man 4, Pirates 4, Captain America, Thor nor Harry Potter would out gross it.

I hate pointing it out, but almost every news outlet has updated the quote from Oldman (later saying it could be longer) except this one and BOF.

I am definitely going to say wait for an official word. After seeing the video and hearing the quote in context, it sounds more like someone going out on a limb/saying something they shouldn't have than someone making a major movie announcement.

Or maybe, Oldman said it to increase pressure on Nolan to do it...

I agree with the first point there. Given the large amount of output, it would be ridiculous to assume that something so little would be used initially.
