And two possible storylines for Season 5 have been mentioned recently.

It's been reported there's "word on the street" that Santana will get a serious NY-based girlfriend in Season 5.

Blake Jenner mentioned Ryder will regret not taking a chance with Kitty due to his obsession with finding out who the catfish was, and we'll see "something's happening" between them.

It didn't really confuse me that much. They have been stuck in late March/april and every episode basically covers 1 day of the week so we are seeing them throughout the week every week.....

Pretty much. That's why they'll likely do a time jump after graduation to catch up to the real world.

Anyway, the show's Emmy submissions.

Lead Actor — Matthew Morrison.

Lead Actress — Lea Michele.

Supporting Actor — Chris Colfer, Kevin McHale, Cory Monteith.

Supporting Actress — Jane Lynch, Naya Rivera, Jenna Ushkowitz.

Guest Actor — Blake Jenner, Mike O’Malley.

Guest Actress — Melissa Benoist, Patty Duke, Kate Hudson, Dot-Marie Jones, Nene Leakes, Sarah Jessica Parker, Lauren Potter.

Maybe Kate Hudson or Sarah Jessica Parker will get nominated.

lol @ Jenner and Benoist submitting themselves as Guest Stars. Because being in almost every episode of the season is SO guest-y. I'm guessing there are certain guidelines about how to submit your work if you're a recurring instead of series regular, but still...

And the one that simultaneously makes me laugh my ass of and then get really sad is Morrison. Come on, dude... you stopped trying with this show a while back and you know it.

I believe those are Fox's submissions, even though actors are allowed to submit themselves.

That's why Morrison is still labeled as lead actor despite not being a proeminent character anymore.

Morrison also said recently that he's not sure if he'll stay in the show for long. Word is he's been wanting to leave for a while, so that could either be a narrative shift or they simply reducing his role and maybe bringing in another director.

I really do miss the days when Will was the lead character instead of the Rachel/Finn/Kurt triad.

 

[Primal Slayer]

I think it is time for Will to leave the show if they keep McKinley around after this season. The 100th episode or graduation episode would be a good send off for him and introduce a new teacher.

And I wish naya would win an emmy since she deserves one.

I really wish this show would just completely go off the rails next season, to the point of either being so awful that I never want to watch it again or being so awesomely bad that it's actually enjoyable. As it is, the show is just middling. It's repetitive, it's stale, it's annoying. I need an EXTREME.

Either that, or they can get a showrunner in there that actually aims the show in a genuinely good direction, but that's never going to happen, so.

I also can't help but wonder what sort of very special episode Murphy will shoe-horn into S5. Really, though, after school shootings, bully-influenced suicide and molestation, what's left? A kidnapping?

Westboro Baptist Church will come to picket McKinley because Blaine is Senior Class President.

Blaine and Sam will pwn them in dynamic duo fashion, complete with their Nightbird and Blond Chameleon superhero costumes.

After forty-five minutes of utter crack, Fox will air a PSA narrated by Darren Criss and Chord Overstreet immediately following the episode about the suicide rate of LGBT youth.

Well, now you've just spoiled the whole A-plot of the 100th episode.

Special Guest Star Sir Ian McKellen as Pastor Fred Phelps.

Something tells me Sir Ian would be down for this.

And Neil Patrick Harris as Kirk Cameron. Yes, I realize NPH has been on the show before, but lets not pretend RM's memory goes back that far.

At this point, I actually wonder...

A. Whether or not we'll ever see Quinn again (100th episode, I'm thinking the answer is yes. Otherwise...)
B. Characters like Mike and Mercedes (and to a slightly lesser extent, Puck) will still non-nonsensically remain series regulars

Mercedes and co. Have apparently been dropped as regulars which makes sense since they still got paid for the season without having to do that much.

Diana probably will show up 1 more time but I doubt she will waste her time after that.

Didn't she pay to get out of contract or something?

I doubt it. They let half the cast out of their contracts for s6 since they still got paid for 22 episodes and that's wasting money.
