Apparently Corey, Lea, Chris and Darren were supposed to be doing some kind of interview together tomorrow for the new season, and he was found by the hotel because he hadn't checked out on time.

:wow::csad:

That...might be even worse than what I'd been imagining.

What a horrible shock for the rest of them, and everyone else.

So sad to hear this. :( I stopped watching this show a long time ago but Cory always struck me as a nice guy in real life.

Mark has been the only one to tweet about this. All he tweeted was "No."

And while Finn was the lead male I don't think his death spells doom for the show. The character had half the air team he usually got in S4 and the show survived downplaying Shue as head male. But I think right now would be a good time to give the adults more air time.

Neither do I, but I think this going to be a real hard one for them to regain their footing with.

:( that's horrible news. I met him when they were filming the 13th episode of the show when i was in it way back when.... Very quiet but very nice guy. At least he's at peace.... But Yeesh i didn't think he'd be the first Celeb I've met to die :(

I hate when things like this happen because all I can think of "why couldn't he and Lea be together or him shooting the show" so someone would've been around to save him.

They've never had anything remotely close to this happen to them before...the original cast will never be whole again.

He died the same as Heath Ledger, alone in a hotel room :csad:

He was laying there dead for hours before anyone found him....yea, I need to stop thinking about this, but I can't.

I'm not ashamed to say I'm really upset about this, actually.

Of course there's that one prick on twitter that takes issue with people being upset about his passing so soon after the Zimmerman verdict. :whatever:

I feel bad for saying this but I think this could give the show new life. It wont be tied down to Rachel/Finn having to find each other anymore and it will force some characters to change some.

Yea, because one has absolutely anything to do with the other....I don't even want to see the BS some extremely pathetic individuals are going to spew about this....I hope Lea and the others don't stumble across their crap.

Of course they don't. But you know there's always gotta be some ***hole who wants to stand out, so they make it look like people have their priorities out of whack. It's just a ****-move all around.

I just pray they address this the correct way. And if they do have Finn die in the show and do a funeral, I hope they don't have anyone sing anything. Just an entire episode reflecting on the character. If they want songs, make it into a 2parter.

I think the cast singing a group song at the close, if handled right, could be a classy and appropriate send-off.

Not all through the episode though.

I don't envy any of them for having to film this episode....like ripping the scab off a wound all over again to have to deal with it on the show as well as in person...

They were supposed to start shooting the show in a little over a week. No way that's happening now.

As judgmental as I am about Ryan and Co., I think this could actually be their finest hour, albeit in a sad way. No agenda, no message (hopefully)... just saying goodbye to one of their own.

Yea, agreed.

I would certainly like to hope they would show appropriate class and dignity about this, at least.

I just hope if they do have a funeral for Finn that they bring back everyone and that Diana and co. are open to returning for it. It would be so wrong to have any of the orig. ND missing.

Assuming they do indeed kill off Finn, just thinking about Schue is killing me...

It would be nice if they could have the entire Glee cast, past and present, onhand.

Nobody's probably going to have to do that much acting to react to Finn's death....

I can't really imagine them doing anything else at this point. He's gone. Killing off the character as well is the right thing to do, IMO.

Schue/Kurt/Quinn/Puck/Rachel all would have giant reactions and feel his loss the most.

They better not turn it into a preachy ep, there's no need for that. If they want to do something, have some of the cast do a mini PSA at the end as themselves about how people can find help or help others for drug problems.

If they have to name a cause of death, have it be something simple like a car accident or something.
