Can't say I think either of them was deserviing this season. They both had moments in seasons past, sure, but I'm hard pressed to think of what they did this season that was Emmy worthy.

Dot was barely around. I'm assuming she got a nod for the faux shooting episode. I'm kind of at a loss as to why Jane was nominated, though she seems to be the Glee equivalent of Meryl Streep who's nominated for walking into a room.

Come on, now. Her writing is hardly stellar, but Jane always tends to make the most out of it.

Wouldn't be shocked if Jane got nominated for the shooting episode too.

Westboro Baptist tweeted that Lea should kill herself so the wedding can take place as scheduled in Hell.

It's like they keep trying to top themselves for outrageously disgusting statements.

Actually, that's a crime, isn't it? Advocating for someone to commit suicide? WBC finally slipped up and did something legally actionable.

If there was any doubt that the WBC is not a Christian church, that ends today. Suicide is the lowest of low sins in Christianity, so advocating it is beyond antithetical even to their warped beliefs.

I have to question a family where a 13 year old boy is doing drugs and....nobody notices?

and one that cremates the body before letting the father visit his own son? I don't know much about his family, but even if his father was a horrible druggy himself.. they should let him say goodbye to his son

... there logic isn't very sound. Last I checked Suicide isn't umm "kosher" lol. you know, im quite shocked that this group hasn't had members killed already

this.

If a kid get's jail time for threatening a shooting, these scum should get the same treatment. Bullying is Bullying. I'd sue there pants off if i were Lea

Bye Bye Emma!

While I am not surprised...I am kind of suprirsed that this is her final season and that they are writing her off the show. Which I can only assume they would (or planned to before Corys death) do to Shue aswell.

Emma and Shue are irrelevant at this point anyway. Sadly I was actually enjoying Finn's arc of becoming a replacement coach.

yeah, in all honesty. I think if anything Emma and Shue will be staying longer (than previously anticipated) this season due to cory's death than what the original plan was.

This season will be a major game changer, and probably in the end, the push the show needed. Too many characters are too dependent on others that they can't really grow as characters.

Rachel is dependent on Finn, Santana some what was on Brittany, and all of them are dependent on Shue and he's dependent on Emma.

this season will be about cutting the apron strings so to speak in the end

If they had planned on Shue leaving I think they should still do it and just come in with a fresh new teacher. If Holly Holiday weren't played by such a big name, I would've loved for her to come back and take over.

If we're talking characters that are dependent on other characters, lets not forget Mr. "Yeah, I'm a high school senior and we haven't been dating for months because I slept with another guy, but I think I'm going to propose. Everyone has told me it's a bad idea.... but it's a good idea, right?"

If ANY character needs to gain some independence... :o

id agree with that... completely. Though, I think Kurt and Blaine are written in a hole they wont crawl out of ever, due to the fans. They're Glee's ross and rachel... people will want them together no matter what. Blaine certainly needs character growth, i think kurt is pretty independent however.

Season 4 totally squandered the perfect opportunity to make Blaine an independent character and instead made his entire existence revolve around Kurt more than ever.

Kurt is pretty independent though, IMO. Brad Falchuk's comment that Kurt "got lost in his relationship with Blaine" never made sense to me (it would have made more sense about Blaine), because to me, Kurt's never been defined by being one half of Klaine. If Kurt's defined by being one half of any relationship, it's Hummelberry far more than Klaine.

According to TV Line, the premiere has only been pushed back a week. Thought it would've been ALOT more.

Wouldn't it be really nice if they put a picture of Cory/Finn in the choir room, next to Mrs. Adler's?

A source close to production tells HollywoodLife.com exclusively:

"There has been talk about writing the first few episodes around old footage of Cory from the show and actually have Finn be alive for a bit in order to lead into a more emotional goodbye — so it doesn’t feel sudden. The producers are weighing what the cast and his family think of the idea, and of course Lea Michele, to see if it’s at all plausible to attempt. Regardless, they want to do any angle with dignity."

This sounds too morbid and kind of creepy.

Yea...that surprised me. Production has been pushed back to August.

Is anyone, particularly Lea, gonna be up to this? That's not very far.

It sounds like they'd be trying to take a Dallas approach to this, which I really don't think is the way to go.

I think they should just start with the aftermath and go from there. Have the first episode or couple episodes be the goodbye to Finn.

The only unknown footage of Cory is from "Lights Out". And that's not too much, he didn't even finish the episode (because of his rehab).

I don't even know what the right way to go about this is.
