Glee Episode V: The Sylvester Strikes Back - - - Part 12

It only looked good when he was a Warbler. Now the look is old and just not here for it

I'm pretty sure they actually increased the amount of gel in his hair after Season 2.

S2 his hair wasn't even as gelled as it is now.

Yeah, the season 4 hair gel job is way more extreme than S2.

Also his wardrobe just went insane after Season 2.

Even the couple times we saw him outside of his Dalton uniform in Season 2, he had kind of an understated, non-flamboyant style. Then they rebooted him into more of a Kurt 2.0, except with even more hideous outfits.

So Santana just moves in again apparently without any explanation from what happened last week.

Well in the promo she tells Rachel that Brody is a gigolo, so presumably they find out she was right, give him the boot, and let her come back, since we also know Brody leaves the apartment in this episode (and probably the show).

Oliver Kieran-Jones (Adam) isn't in ANY of the upcoming episodes at least up until 4x20, which they're currently filming, and says he doesn't know if he's doing any more Glee.

I like how Kurt is like the abridged version of "The Star of the Show" Rachel, so his midgame ship gets like five minutes of screentime and the writers don't even bother pretending he matters.

- Mamma Mia wasn't as good as it should have been

- Blaine singing a love song to/about Sam was awkward

- Sayonara, Brody

POI isn't on tonight, so I'll actually be able to watch live.

This was a fun episode, the next ones look even better though with the Finn/Puck college stuff and Rachel auditioning for Broadway.

Next week is the gunshot/school lockdown, which they're mostly keeping under wraps.

Sam could use a haircut. He's starting to go full Culkin again.

I actually thought Brody was kind of sympathetic, and he and Rachel's breakup was a little pleasantly surprising by actually being fairly peaceful.

lol Oh geez... Blaine's expressing himself with somber piano-playing again. :funny:

I was hoping that Jake was singing Bobby Brown to expose the group's hypocrisy, but I guess not... he really is just that lame. :o

I kinda liked the club doing their own thing sans teacher this week.... Mr. Schue, you're a great guy-- ehh, you're an okay guy, but I think things are going quite smoothly without you. Don't come back. :o

Yea, so far we've had Finn and Blaine/Sam subbing for him, and nothing they've done has been measurably worse than his ideas.

Not like it was ever hard to come up with a theme each week.

Kind of wish Blaine would just get over his crush on Sam already, especially considering he had sex with his "soulmate" Kurt like two weeks ago, but the little Blam bonding moment at the end was nice (complete with a ***** joke. Oh Glee).

They better keep the friendship going. I don't want Sam/Blaine going the way of Kurt/Mercedes.

For those wondering, there's also an actual girlfriend version apparently:

Not that I'm going to get it... just tempted to either get that one of the bf one for the novelty of them lol.

True, but the friendships on this show are often as inconsistent as the romantic relationships. He just better not screw it up.

Is there anything he doesn't manage to screw up sooner or later?

He's massacred pretty much every couple the show's ever had, some of them several times.
