I'm genuinely shocked right now. That's horrible. I thought him going to rehab would have helped him. My God... :csad:

The last time I felt this shocked and shaken by a celebrity's death was Heath Ledger...

I'm honestly pretty upset about this....he seemed like a good guy and I really thought, considering he checked himself into rehab, he wasn't that bad off and that he would get straightened out and things would just go on and be fine...

Same. I can't even wrap my mind around this. He always seemed like such a good dude. This is tragic...

When I first read it, I was really hoping against hope HR got it wrong somehow.

I can't even begin to imagine how the show will go forward after this, not that the show even matters right now...

I was praying this was just another hoax. So sad to hear it is real. As much as I disliked Finn, loved Cory and the show will just feel weird without him there. And it is weird now that he just did the promo pics for shows 5th season last week and they were gearing up for their image campaign.

While I think they need to reference this in the show, I just feel bad for everyone having to grieve both in their personal lives and work lives.

Considering he and Lea were a long-time couple IRL, I can't help but wonder if she's even gonna be up to coming back to Glee according to schedule.

I mean, obviously that's not what anyone is thinking about right now, but....there is so much of the show that would be a continual reminder of him.

Yeah, Finn was easily one of the worst parts of the show for me, and part of the reasons I dropped the show, but I never imagined something like this. Corey seemed like a good guy and grateful for the opportunities this show gave him. So sad to seem him throw it away like this. I feel bad for everyone involved who surely won't feel the same after this.

I still can't quite believe this is real...

I doubt the show will even start production on schedule. And I can only imagine FOX will cancel the image campaign all together. It would just feel so wrong now to see everyone acting happy and cheerful during the promos.

It's so surreal to think that last episode before he went into rehab is the last we'll ever see of him.

It really is. I feel like they should just jump straight to Finns funeral and not try to add up to it or anything. Feel terrible talking about how they should off Finn but it has to be done.

I feel so bad that it appears the entire cast found out the same way we did.

I don't suppose anyone has commented yet....they're probably all in 100x the shock we are right now...

God, I hope Lea didn't find out from a news article...

They need to do a full-on Finn memorial episode, I think.

As hard as it's gonna be to film and watch, I don't think there's any way around it.

He's too huge a piece of the show not to be given a proper send-off.

Jesus... I can't imagine the show shutting down for good, but I have a hard time imagining it going forward after this. You're losing your male lead and the on and off-screen boyfriend of your female lead.

And, yeah, I really hope Lea didn't find out the same way we did either...

Lea was tweeting about a fashion photoshoot and her album like 3 hours ago :csad:

Apparently Corey, Lea, Chris and Darren were supposed to be doing some kind of interview together tomorrow for the new season, and he was found by the hotel because he hadn't checked out on time.

Mark has been the only one to tweet about this. All he tweeted was "No."

And while Finn was the lead male I don't think his death spells doom for the show. The character had half the air team he usually got in S4 and the show survived downplaying Shue as head male. But I think right now would be a good time to give the adults more air time.
