Assuming they don't ignore Kurt's POV and use him to prop up up Rachel like they sometimes have a way of doing.

But Rachel's barely even in the episode, so here's hoping Kurt actually gets the reaction he should have.

Thank God Carole's in that episode. It doesn't sit right with me that Quinn won't be though.

I'm hoping that was more of a scheduling impossibility than a writing decision. Because if it was the latter, that doesn't really bode well.

Yea, I'm curious if they tried to get Dianna back. Heather's gonna be MIA too, obviously.

Apparently Santana has a "memorable" scene.

Not exactly the greatest thing to do after Glee but at least she will keep her name in the media.

Ugh, really Amber? Way to officially join the ranks of has-been pseudo-celebrities.

Hey hey hey! :cmad:

How dare you speak of Andy Dick, Jaleel White and Nick Lachey's younger brother like that? :o

have to say...got me a little excited.

They're casting a new leading man for the Lima side to replace Joe now. Ruby is already the likely replacement of Sugar.

They could just set a couple crash test dummies in the choir room, for all the relevance Joe and Sugar had.

I don't know why they bother when they didn't care to do anything with sugar or dreads.

I thought Vanessa Lengies (Sugar) stated she was staying.

She has a new series, but it's midseason, so she might be able to squeeze a few appearances in.

Which is useless. They took Artie from her and Brittany. So much wasted potential.

They might as well just stick the band guys in New Directions to fill the empty seats like they did in S3 when Mercedes, Santana, and Brittany quit. Sure, they're basically just extras, but so were Joe and Sugar most of the time.

UGGGGGGGGGGHHHHHHHHHHHHH...... this doesn't bode well. Weird decision, especially if she would've been up for it.

Thought this part was funny...
(whose character, Finn, impregnated Quinn in the show’s first season)
Nice fact checking, NY Post. :o

Why am I not surprised RM wouldn't ask her back? He + common sense do not mix. Ugh why couldn't FOX axe him after s2 and give us a show runner who knows how to not run Glee into the ground.

The weird thing of it is, that the two best seasons of this series are the ones written exclusively by him, Falchuk and Ian Brennan. It's like things started turning ****ty for the most part when they added a full writing staff.

At any rate, he should've moved on by his own choice and left the series to be run by someone else as soon as he decided to start doing, like, twenty projects simultaneously.

Appears that Diana was never asked to return for episode 3. HUGE mistake on RM part.

Ugh, just when I try to give Murphy a little benefit of the doubt...

I know she has a movie to promote, and if it was schedule conflict, I'd understand and wouldn't blame Murphy for it, but the fact that he didn't even ASK her to return is just insulting, especially under the circumstances of paying tribute to Cory/Finn. She'd been around since Day 1 and Quinn and Finn have a history.

Glee has/had soooo much potential for so many storylines that they squandered all over the place.

In 100% seriousness some Glee fanfiction is far better-written than the show itself. They should hire those girls as writers, the show would probably be better.

Honestly, considering Chris Colfer is a professional screenwriter and author, I'd be curious what an episode written by him would be like. Colfer seems smart, wouldn't surprise me at all if it was better than half of that RIB come up with.

That's probably because Murphy gets bored ridiculously easily with projects and probably stopped giving a **** after two seasons.

Unless they were to take over showrunning, it wouldn't matter.

Probably. Which is why I'd rather he just stick with American Horror Story. Kinda hard to get bored with something that regenerates into something new each season.

Glee's Kevin McHale Talks 'Powerful, Emotional' Finn Tribute, Previews That 'One Scene'

Just a few days into production on Glee‘s Finn Hudson tribute, co-star Kevin McHale describes an “extremely emotional” shoot that, at times, has been “hard to get through.”

Acknowledging that there’s essentially “no ‘right’ way to do it,” the McKinley vet says he was blown away when he first read the script for the episode, which is slated to air on Oct. 10.

“There are so many incredibly well written and powerful scenes,” he shares, before singling out one sequence as being particularly moving. “When [the cast] got the script, we were all reading it together and we were like, ‘Did you get to that one scene.’ And when you see it everyone will know what that one scene is.”

McHale says reactions to Finn’s death will be both varied and surprising, noting that some castmembers “are having to play reactions that they obviously would not feel in real-life, and that’s a weird thing to play. Because you want people to know how you actually feel. But [Ryan Murphy & Co. are staying true to] the characters, and that’s the smart thing to do.”

For example. several characters find themselves in a deep state of denial. “Some people aren’t dealing with the loss of Finn, and it’s a difficult thing because in real life none of us were like that,” he explains. “We were all very much dealing with it.”

I could see Rachel being in denial and plunging into Funny Girl and refusing to think about it.

I'm guessing Santana won't get emotional. Or she will break down and hate herself for all the things she said about Finn. Though I wouldn't be surprised if she said he helped her through her coming out.
