Glee Episode V: The Sylvester Strikes Back - - - - Part 13

I was thinking Puck, honestly. He doesn't seem like one to address something like this head-on. I imagine he'll be burying his feelings.

Since he and Lea are so close, does anyone else think they might bring Jonathan Groff back at some point?

I doubt it. He is going to be filming his new show and I doubt the writers even remember who he is.

Murphy let Groff out of the play he was working on (which Murphy was producing or directing) so Groff could go stay with Lea after Cory's death.

Yeah but now they have to make up for that time.

I think his show's got, like, an eight episode order. I'm sure they could squeeze him in after the midseason point. The not remembering him part is frighteningly believable, though. :o

I LOL'ed hard when Murphy said he was excited about addressing dyslexia with Ryder because they'd never dealt with it before....when Sam said he was dyslexic in Season 2.

What's weird about these writers is sometimes they have continuity in tiny little details that call back to something like 2 seasons ago, and sometimes they forget major plot points from last week.

TVLine confirmed the Artie/Kitty pairing, and that there are plans to use Katy Perry's "Roar" in the show. Likely for Nationals, which might be as early as 5x04.

Of course there are. The song was only released like 35 seconds ago, after all. :o

I was watching the Roast of James Franco last night and saw Matthew Morrison in the audience. Looked like he was having a good time.

Give thanks that there were no Corey Monteith jokes. I imagined Jeff Ross might go there.

Question: Any new details on Glee‘s Finn tribute? Maybe something about song selection? —Jen
Ausiello: Although I don’t have any confirmation of this, rumor has it an iconic track from Glee‘s Season 1 setlist will be revived for the Oct. 10 farewell. Additionally, I hear Santana is featured somewhat prominently in the special episode, the script of which is garnering rave reviews.
Do we know what the song is already?

Its weird that the character who disliked Finn the most is going to be playing one of the biggest roles in the episode.

Eh. Her main character trait is pretty much disliking everyone (with the main exception of Britt) to varying degrees. It's just what she does. She had her reasons for getting into **** with Finn, but I don't think her having an emotional response to his passing is too out of left field.

Plus, if Rachel isn't factoring into the tribute episode much, there needs to be someone to pick up the slack. As long as she isn't overshadowing Kurt, Burt/Carole and Will.

I didn't say it would be out of left field if she had an emotional response, just weird that she will have one of the bigger roles. Im fine with it since I love me some Santana. But we haven't even heard about Kurt.

^ I'm concerned about that too, especially since the writers pretty much gave Kurt's POV about everything short shrift last season.

Amber is confirmed for Dancing With The Stars. Not the greatest gig, but at least they gave her the one partner who is almost pre-determined to make it far into the season.

Where former celebrities go to die.

In terms of celebrity, I think she was lower-level enough to begin with that this might actually be semi-helpful for her career.
