They're singing some of Finn's classic tunes in The Quarterback. Mercedes is singing "I'll Stand By You". Supposedly, Rachel might be singing "Faithfully".

They're also singing "Fire and Rain" by James Taylor. Apparently, Artie was originally supposed to sing it back in season 2 but it never happened. Not sure if he'll be the one singing it. I love his voice, but I kind of hope it goes to Puck or Will.

How do we know that already? They said they were shutting down production for a bit after episode 3 to reevaluate the season.

I've come to the conclusion that the Finn/Monteith tribute isn't going to be as well done as it should be (the lack of Agron/Quinn decided that quickly), so I think I'm not gonna watch.

That is unless word of mouth about the episode convinces me otherwise.

*inhales deeply* Blaine, you're not Kurt. Go home and change your clothes. :o

Though it's certainly annoying seeing Glee fans, most of them who have never read a comic book I imagine, acting as though this is the best thing that could've possibly happened on Twitter.

More minor information about 5x01.

Artie becomes disappointed because Kitty wants to hide their relationship from the rest of the school. Though she probably comes around in the end.

Kurt and Blaine get back together, which motivates Blaine to propose.

Rachel fails a chemistry audition for "Funny Girl" and decides to get a job at the Stardust Diner to get life experience. The casting director coincidentally shows up there, and Rachel and Santana sing "A Hard Day's Night". Rachel sells that she can act more old and weary, and gets a second shot at the role.

Adam Lambert's character, described as "Kurt's nemesis", is a drag queen.

In response to the last:
Ehh... I can see it. The drag part, not the nemesis part. I have no idea why Kurt would be picking a fight with a drag queen or vice versa.

Well at least they're back together BEFORE Blaine pops the question.

Rachel fails only to get what she wants 5 mins later? And of course Santana gets ignored by the agent.

Well did Santana want to be in the musical?

Wanting to be in a musical and getting discovered are two different things.

And breaking up Klaine was such a waste of time, neither grew or changed from the break up.

Klaine breaking up was a golden opportunity to give Blaine some much-needed character development and grow into more of an independent character instead of following Kurt around like a lovesick puppy dog.

Instead, they had him spend half the time wandering the halls crying and singing love ballads while flipping through scrapbooks of Kurt, in between getting a crush on his BFF Sam and singing a love song to him, which just made Blaine look even more wishy washy, and culminating in something as absurd as wanting to propose to his EX, which just made Blaine look desperate and ridiculous.

The whole thing just made Blaine look even more hopelessly surgically attached to Kurt than he was BEFORE they broke up.

As for Kurt, they gave short shrift to his entire perspective about the break-up by having Blaine moan about it to Sam and anyone else who would listen while never giving he and Kurt a single scene to substantially talk about it and the reasons why stuff happened (even when they had Kurt say he wanted to have a "mature heart-to-heart" over Christmas, and then the writers kind of just forgot about it), making their reunion not feel earned because neither of them addressed their own faults: Blaine's clingy levels of co-dependence and Kurt's selfishness, BOTH of which contributed to the break-up. But Kurt is never wrong, according to the writers, so we'll never have him acknowledge the fact that he's not the world's best boyfriend either.

The break-up was a perfect opportunity for them to both become more self-aware and grow as people, but the writers didn't do anything with it.

I'm glad they're building up the NYC side a little more. I want to see Rachel & co interact with over the top new yorkers.

Surprised how many castmembers I saw in the audience cheering for Amber Riley tonight. Usually it's just a friend/co-worker or two and some family. There were, like, 4-5 castmembers there.

Yea, Dianna, Jenna, Kevin, Ashley Fink, and Colfer and his boyfriend.

Colfer was jumping up and down clapping.

I thought she was pretty good.

Colfer having that sort of response reminds me of how Kurt and Mercedes actually used to be besties, before he dumped her for Rachel.

More tidbits.

Sue arranges for Figgins to be demoted to janitor, and is instated as interim principal. In order to become full-time principal and increase McKinley's profile, she pushes all extra-curricular activities and clubs, including the synchronized swimming team and the glee club, to win their upcoming competitions and make her look good. Right now, she's not meant to be antagonistic, and this change might be permanent.

One of Sue's first acts is to have all the students take polio shots, which is how Sam meets his new girlfriend, Penny.

Santana books an acting job in a commercial for yeast infection in 5x01.

Puck joins the Army in honor of Finn in 5x03.
