Now there's a guest star no one was asking for. :o

oh lord... please don't do songs from Moving out... Billy Joel's work and music is great... but the show sucked so much ass on broadway :/

It was a jukebox musical...

some are good... it was not. Plot was literally the most stereotypical story for the 60s ever..

Glee loves it some stereotypes, so if anything that might only make it more likely.

I just mean, you said "don't do songs from moving out" To me, that's the same as saying "Don't sing Billy Joel songs!" they're one in the same.

It's like saying "Don't do Beatles songs, cause I hate Across the Universe".

well yes obviously.. and i even acknowledged that in the post. I just A) hate the fact they even could be referencing the show with the title... and i really hope the episode doesn't give further nods to it.

Nothing can surpass having Perez Hilton guest star.

Any show that has that scumbag on loses some respect from me, not just entertainment-wise, but morally.

Or maybe they're referencing the song. :/

I just can't imagine Glee would reference a rather obscure musical, as opposed to the actual icon and his song.

I mean, this is the same show that performs a musical, but uses the costumes, dialog, and musical arrangements of the more popular movie.

I felt bad for Rex Lee having to be in the same room with him and LiLo.

You actually asked Stevie to use her music on the show, right?
Yeah, the whole thing started with the fact that when I was growing up, I was always obsessed with those Stevie Nicks songs like “Riannon” and “Gypsy.” And I remember reading an article where Courtney Love called Stevie Nicks the “white witch” and Grace Slick the “dark witch.” And I have a good relationship with Stevie because of Glee. She is one of the few artists that have come to hang out. She had been writing Lea [Michele] and I regularly since the Cory [Monteith] situation, because she really loved Cory [who passed away in July]. So she’s just a wonderful, wonderful person.
That's nice to hear.

“The final year of the show, which will be next year, was designed around Rachel and Cory/Finn’s story,” Murphy told reporters. “I always knew that, I always knew how it would end. I knew what the last shot was – he was in it. I knew what the last line was – she said it to him. So when a tragedy like that happens you sort of have to pause and figure out what you want to do, so we’re figuring that out now.

Not surprised. FOX would've only renewed the show for a 7th season if they got actual interesting high school characters to follow and Glee wouldn't be able to handle anything that isn't a knock off. But since they know the end is coming how about giving us some good storylines? And might as well wrap up Lima at the end of the year.

Fixed. The show could be repetitive and awful as ****, but if the numbers were good, it would stay. When the only thing that grants you an up-tick from your low ratings is a tribute to your dead castmember, your show is in trouble.

Either way, this was basically a 99% certainty anyway. Murphy just added the extra 1%.

You can't blame the newbies for everything.

so how did Finn die? I just saw the tribute episode and it annoyed me how they never mentioned this big elephant in the room. Or did I miss it?

They purposely didn't mention it, and it didn't bother me a bit. It was meant to celebrate his life, not to dwell on his death.

They never mentioned it.
Thanks.

a simple line about an accident could have been enough to suffice and that wouldn't equate to dwelling on the death. Its not like I was expecting a renactment

Finn died, no need for a mention of why? He just did.

I like how they only ask what endgame you want for Rachel.

Because that's all that matters, apparently...

Nevermind, apparently I didn't look closely enough and see the arrow to move to another character.

They're revving up the casting process for the new character, Kyle, that's being introduced in 5x07. Supposedly, he's going to be a big deal. Some are guessing he's meant to be the "new" Blaine.
