Musical Glee Episode V: The Sylvester Strikes Back - - - - - - Part 15

So, this episode was kind of boring after the acid-trip delirium of the last two. No Sue at all.

I did like that abuela didn't turn around and accept Santana. It's a little more realistic than some miraculous turn-around. Though she's credited for the wedding episode in two weeks, so I'm guessing she will show up after all.

St. Mercedes was in full force this episode.

I LOL'ed at the obvious Emma body double glimpsed from behind in the dinner party at the end.

Also, the last shot was totally unsubtle about making a point of Blaine showing up by himself without Karofsky. Poor Max Adler, they bring him back just for this, and then he probably got kicked to the curb offscreen.

I see Naya Rivera has joined the ranks of women injecting their lips with collagen.

What possesses anyone to think that makes them attractive?

Yeah it was an ok episode, it being Rachel Berry hr again did nothing for me. It's weird that Brittany/Santana existed in their own storyline the entire time and never interacted with Mercedes or Rachel or Sam. Would've been fun to see all of them in the teachers lounge talking with one another, same with Artie. I guess that trio just broke up? Though it was nice to see everyone hanging out at the end, wish we got some dialogue.

Two minutes in and I need Samchel so bad that I'm about to start foaming at the mouth and biting random strangers on the street.

And now this Brittany bit is killing my shipper buzz. :o

It was SO DISTRACTING. :(

I feel like part of the problem was that shiny lip gloss they had on that guppy mouth the entire time.

Yeah, that didn't help. And the lip gloss + the way she was lit during her performance didn't help either.

Of course they wouldn't use them to their full potential. I'd your name isn't Burt, you might as well forget about it. That's why i feel bad for Gloria Estefan, she really wanted to explore Santanas family and made up a background but I'll be surprised if she has any decent dialogue during the wedding.

Boring episode, I don't care about rehashing Rachel's Broadway dream journey or the wedding, give me the insanity!!!

I liked the episode. The Britt/Santana material was really good. What happened to Santana's parents? Is she an orphan?

that was for the best. The recent episodes have been beyond stupid. I liked the more grounded approach of this one.

I wish you hadnt spoiled that bit

5 minutes into the episode I turned it off. Boring crap.

Apparently
Dalton Academy burns to the ground and the Warblers merge with New Directions
.

Well that's one way to solve the membership problem.

Lol oh Glee. A prestigious school burns down so they merge with a school 2 hours away instead of just merging with their sister school. Well i guess maybe it just The Warblers and not the entire school.

If we're supposed to believe Dalton is two hours away from McKinley, Kurt and Blaine were going a hell of a long way for coffee when they were Dalton students but hung out at the Lima Bean every episode.

Apparently Carol Burnett and Whoopi Goldberg are back in Episode 11, "The Rise and Fall of Sue Sylvester".

Jonathan Groff is returning at some point.

Chris Colfer posted a pic of himself in the recording studio on his Instagram yesterday and said he was recording his final Glee song. Apparently Darren Criss and Amber Riley have recorded their final songs as well.

Dot Jones is actually less believable as a man than might have been expected.

I like how Sue is against all forms of bullying, except when she's the one dishing it out. She's such a roaring hypocrite that even her nice moments are annoying anymore.

Max George's attempt at an American accent makes him almost unintelligible.

Poor Max Adler got brought back to be the third wheel in a love triangle and then given the brush off.

So Kurt comes back to Lima desperate to get Blaine back...finds out Blaine is dating Karofsky...accepts a date with Walter in an extremely thinly-veiled attempt to move on...then Blaine kisses him...and Kurt keeps going out with a man who looks like his grandfather after the love of his life he's supposedly desperately pining for laid the lips on him, like nothing happened...is it just me, or is there some extremely whiplashy behavior going on with both Kurt and Blaine, even by Glee standards?

Hey, some guys like an old sugar daddy.

Doesn't matter if the plumbing works as long as the checks don't bounce, eh?

Now you know how I've felt about Santana for the past few seasons. :o

Episode barely did anything for me, though I was surprised at how little screen time the new Beiste got when they've talking this up like it is a big episode and the only thing big about it was the choir.

Seemed like Will needed a lesson this week in how to deal with VA. Should've introduced them to some Lima Heights hospitality instead of bringing in Unique of all people who couldn't handle the school. Or, you know, Jesse St.James. Should've teamed up Santana/Sue/Quinn/Jesse/Sebastian/Becky.

But hey! In other news, we get yet ANOTHER rendition of I Kissed A Girl in the flashback episode 2009.

I actually thought this episode was better than any since the first two of this season. It felt like it took Glee a little back to the "old" feel.

The montage of Rachel and friends taking down her wall of memories actually made me a little sad that the show is ending.

Also, I thought the elevator scene where Klaine were reminiscing, and their moment outside the party last night had a pretty "real" feel to it. Their storyline could have more depth this season if we'd gotten more scenes of them like that, where they actually feel like this on-again off-again couple with an entangled history and lots of feelings and nostalgia between them, instead of Sue shenanigans.

Samchel feels >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> any emotion whatsoever for Blaine at the end
