I need a guest appearance by Mae Whitman before this ends. :o

Darren is so much more fun IRL than he's ever allowed to be as Blaine...

Duets is on tv...really weird seeing Sams original personality. Santana/Mercedes were such an awesome team up. Kurt still had his personality and didn't revolve around Blaine. Those were the days.

Sam was mentally at his lowest during season 4 when he was with Brittany. I think they smartened him up this season so it's believable he can be with Rachel. He's back to being average at best now.

I have to say I am really liking the Rachel and Sam relationship, it actually feels quite natural as they are writing both are people rather than cartoon characters this season.

So Kurt comes back to Lima desperate to get Blaine back...finds out Blaine is dating Karofsky...accepts a date with Walter in an extremely thinly-veiled attempt to move on...then Blaine kisses him...and Kurt keeps going out with a man who looks like his grandfather after the love of his life he's supposedly desperately pining for laid the lips on him, like nothing happened...is it just me, or is there some extremely whiplashy behavior going on with both Kurt and Blaine, even by Glee standards?

The writing for them is so muddled and it's classic Glee, inserting Lilly's murderer in there as a pointless obstacle to where we all know things are going to end up is just irritating and makes Kurt looks a fickle tease. They'd be better putting Blaine and Kurt back together now and spending the rest of the season showing them finding a balance and maturity in their relationship.

The montage of Rachel and friends taking down her wall of memories actually made me a little sad that the show is ending.

One of my favourite scenes in the entire series run.

It's sad to think that the last time the entire cast has been together was 3x22 and the 100th episode to a lesser extant sans Finn.

It's still sad to think that Finn didn't even see the fourth season through, due to Cory Monteith's stay in rehab.

I wonder how long it took them to figure that out? They couldve gotten Naya/HeMo to film it during Wedding and Dianna might have had a better chance of making it.

Can't think of anything more tragic. There is miscast, then there is this. Ugh.

lol as soon as I read that, I was waiting for JP's reaction.

tbh I just don't understand it. I understand stunt casting and I understand that sometimes you have to sacrifice certain things because you want a certain actor to sell tickets (whether it be on Broadway or in movies).

So, I understand if a casting decision isn't age appropriate, or vocally appropriate, or if you're casting based solely on acting ability. But to miss out on ALL 3 seems like you're trying to win some sort of awful casting contest.

I just don't understand why they can't seem to find an actor to stay in the role for a sufficient period of time. Within the past year, they've had NPH, Andrew Rannells, Dexter, John Cameron Mitchell and now Criss. It seems like they're announcing a new actor every month.

Most Broadway contracts are for 6 months, for big names, it's 3...

Actually LOLing at Criss doing 3 months of HEDWIG. He could barely get through 3 weeks of How to Succeed. And that was a far less challenging role, vocally and physically.

I guess that makes sense.

Sue Sylvester would want him to fail.

i honestly think it would be amusing to see Darren in the role.. his level of greatness in the role is definitely not part of that however. He seems ill cast. but i'd be lying if i said i wasn't curious about him being in it, and find it amusing

I "hate watched" him in How to Succeed, and yes it was amusing. But, I donno. This is Hedwig. It means a lot to me. :(

i can't hate watch Darren. i love the guy, but i find the role odd.. i thought how to succeed seemed fitting though, as would book of mormon. Hedwig just seems out of left field

Oh jeez, Mormom would also be pretty bad. The only role he's suited for is Elder Price, and those songs are way too big. It'd be like Heather Morris singing Defying Gravity.

I like Darren, but his voice just wasn't meant to sing 8 shows a week. And H2S wasn't even that vocally demanding.

Glee is good for him because prerecorded tracks are a nice safety net to hide behind for certain singers...

Not to change the subject, but I just found this on Tumblr...

Which is funny because #Samchel4EVA :o

Jeez, it's only when I come into this thread where I hear words like ship and endgame. LOL, Glee.

I can semi-tolerate ships, but fangirls who get too up their own asses about "endgame" nonsense annoy me.
