Musical Glee Episode V: The Sylvester Strikes Back - - - - - - Part 15

Hey look at the bright side...at least you got your Samchel dance.

That doesn't make it right. Shoot, they could've given the two of them a full-blown True Blood-esque sex scene, and I'd still be so done with this episode.

Both parts of Hurt Locker were Emmy-worthy compared to this garbage. At least that **** was funny.

I haven't laughed at anything all season(s).

The OTP hats hurt me pretty bad though. Jesus Christ.

I felt personally victimized. And I'm only being slightly overdramatic about that.

I feel like it is time for you to go back to Sue...

But at least this season has been more enjoyable then Gossip Girls last season.

Of course it is. This has given me Samchel, whereas the last season of GG robbed me of Dair, which was basically the only thing I cared about at that point anyway.

Seriously, do you guys remember back in the day when the most annoying thing about this show was Jacob Ben Israel?

I do.

I liked Burt and Carol's nod of approval to Samchel

What a wonderful message this sent too. After all the endless drama of Klaine's relationship problems, it will be as if marriage has magically wiped everything away and they'll live happily ever after now. Because I highly doubt they're actually gonna ever get a meaningful conversation about their relationship at this point, or have any more major plot lines about it this close to the end.

See kids? Getting married is a magic cure all.

As much as Season 5's NYC episodes beat the dead horse of Blaine being insecure and needy, at least we got them having actual conversations about their relationship and actually having scenes like an actual couple that actually talks about their ****.

Their storyline was just a haphazard mess this season. The writers shouldn't have broken them up again. There was no point to it at all besides needlessly dragging things out with some manufactured drama with Blainofsky and Kurt dating his own grandpa. I mean, did anyone seriously think for two seconds that Blaine was going to end up with Karofsky, or Kurt was going to end up being Harry Hamlin's houseboy? All this crap was completely pointless. They should have just left them together after Season 5 after all the hullabaloo that season made of them trying to deal with their issues, and then they could have gotten married sometime this season without it being so absolutely ****ing absurd.

I see some Klaine fans gushing over it on Glee Forum, and I'm scratching my head really, really hard, and being like how can you possibly be satisfied with this?

Sadly, I think this is just how far Glee has ground down their expectations by this point, that they'll take whatever scraps they're thrown and be grateful.

Speaking of Klaine, set pic of them from filming of the "five years later" ending episode.

I just love how in probably one of the last scenes we're ever going to see him, they finally do something different with Blaine's hair...

If there was any sense of actual reality about this show, Kurt and Blaine would be divorced in half a year and would never want to see eachother again.

And seriously, why the **** were Carole and Blaine's mom so on board with this?! Your kids might as well have eloped. At someone else's wedding.

the only upsetting thing about Klaine's wedding was that... both are over-the top.. no way would they want a joint wedding... Kurt would want a vast grandiose wedding... like the original proposal was...

no way would they want their spotlight shared (nor would Santana either)

The 2nd half of the finale is suppose to flash foward 5 years.

I figured, though their fashion sense seems to only have gotten worse.

Rumor has it that Jesse/Rachel will endup together.

Rumor has it that Jesse/Rachel will endup together.

Because of course. :o

This wouldn't be Glee if they didn't nicely set up a relationship over the course of a number of episodes, only to pull the rug out in the final hour and change it up.

That was probably the most focused ep the show has ever done, even the Tina side story had a decent pay-off. I thought it was well acted throughout and very much in the spirit of season 1 in terms of quirky charm as opposed to ludicrous silliness, even Pierce Pierce's toast(er) and the story of Brittany's birth worked well enough.

Sue is so far gone in the actual show I decided to treat this as elseworlds Sue who had time traveled from season 1. :oldrazz: The stuff involving her worked taken at face value.

Interestingly there were more guest stars than regular cast in this ep and there wasn't a single song until the 20 minute mark and only 1 more before the 30 minute mark. The best number was "I'm so excited" it's just shame it wasn't performed with Quinn instead of Sugar.

When they did the dress try-ons, I got lost as I thought they both looked good in nearly all of them lol. :D

I refused to watch this last episode. I can't abide by

A) Klaine ending up together. What used to be my favorite characters and couple on this show are now my most hated, and I absolutely hate the thought of them being together now.

B) Britanna getting married. At one point it was a great coupling, and in ways it still is, but they killed it and revived it for no good reason at all, when its no longer even good. The magic and charm if it really isnt there anymore, IMO. And lastly,

C) I still think Santana and Rachel should've ended up together.

I really wish Santana/Mercedes/Brittany/Sugar performed Bang Bang, such a fitting song for that group. Could've cut out an entire Klaine scene.

And that's a wrap on Glee.

End of an bittersweet journey. They really took their time with it though lol.

If they had managed to maintain season 1 quality throughout all six seasons, I'd be such a wreck right now.

As it is... meh. Had to happen sooner or later.
