Glee Episode V: The Sylvester Strikes Back

That's what makes Schue sympathetic to me. I actually find something really endearing about this well-intentioned guy who tries really hard to be a good person and just screws up his own life time and again with his bad judgment and impulses.

Re: Kurt....I dunno, I agree there are plenty of times Kurt's been a manipulative self-righteous and condescending man-b****, but I think he's more mature now than he used to be. He and Rachel are even pretty close friends now, and he didn't try to manipulate Blaine the way he did with Finn.

I too like that about Schue. It almost reminds of Michael Scott or Larry David. He tries, he really does....but through his own ineptitudes and bad decisions he ends up coming off as an ass. :(

As for Kurt, I dunno, I quit watching by that point. I may try again, if I hear that the show has become a lot less preachy with the Karofsky stuff wrapped up. I enjoyed the comedy of Glee. Season 2 was just too damn melodramatic and I find that Kurt is at the center of all the melodrama.

Okay, new Finn song is actually pretty great.

Who are you guys betting on for [BLACKOUT]the death[/BLACKOUT] in Episode 21?

I suspect [BLACKOUT]either Becky or Sue's sister, considering they're casting for Becky's mom and a priest[/BLACKOUT].

Hoping: Jacob Ben Isreal, Azimio, Sandy Ryerson

Thinking: Anyone that isn't Blaine, Kurt, Schue, Rachel or Finn

According to the synopsis it's someone whose death would affect a McKinley student
Tuesday, May 17
GLEE (8:00-9:01 PM ET/PT) – “Funeral”
New Directions continues to strategize their set list for Nationals with a little help from Jessie St. James (guest star Jonathan Groff). Meanwhile, an unexpected loss rocks the world of one of McKinley’s own.

I'm betting on Burt or Carol, but I did the same last time and it ended up being a bird so who knows.

Worst case scenario: Sue

Figgins?! The school auditorium?! Umm... The piano player guy?!
It can't be a main character. What sorts of objects are the glee club attached to?

I want Sue to fake her death to humilate the Glee club.

It'll be Mercedes' unseen puppy.

It says "one of McKinley's own". That doesn't necessarily mean a student, it could be Sue's sister.

Mike O'Malley is signed on for six episodes in Season 3. And Ryan Murphy said at PaleyFest how important it's always been to him to give Kurt a happy ending, so I don't really see anything happening to anyone immediately connected to Kurt.

Whose world would it really rock if Jacob, Azimio, or Sandy died?

It means the activist media watchdogs at the B'Nai Brith, NAACP and/or GLAAD, respectively, would have to close their files and just watch Glee for the musical numbers. ;)

We'd rejoice! Except for Sandy, he's awesome.

Can't kill Sandy: he's the Mr. Garrison of Glee.

He and Sue are the only reminders to the audience that Glee is supposed to be a comedy.

As much as I don't want it, I think it will be Becky. Sue would be devestated though.

They wouldn't dare kill off Becky.

...please don't? :csad:

It would be too sad if they killed off Becky. Jacob and Azimio, however, in an autoerotic asphyxiation suicide pact would be hilarious.

Azimio dies, and it's going to devastate his secret lover Dave.

Seriously, "I'm gonna go home and write some posts about how handsome Mark Harmon is." Freudian slip, Azimio?

Okay...who exactly is Azimio? That's the first time I've heard that name.

EDIT: wait, using my super awesome detective skills and reading Manic's post above me, I can only deduce that Azimio is the black football player. Huzzah! I cracked the case!

Dave's best friend. He was in the Heckler Club that interrupted Tina's first true solo in years.

Azimio doesn't really seem to be Dave's type... he's not smaller than Dave, more feminine than Dave or easier to dominate sexually than Dave.

Dave is probably too repressed and mixed-up to really know what his "type" is.

Although he probably "put the moves" on Kurt because A) Kurt is much less physically imposing than him and he thought he did do what he wanted with him, and B) to a repressed homosexual, Kurt is probably effeminate enough that he could block out what he was doing to a point.
