Glee Episode V: The Sylvester Strikes Back

I find it funny that they could keep the lyric with "transgender life" in Born this Way, but they had to change transexual to sensational for the Rocky Horror episode.

Transgender = okay
Transexual= not?

:huh:

Maybe they just realized how stupid it was to change it the first time?

Born This Way isn't as sexually driven as Rocky Horror, at least that's what I figure.

Murphy might be able to freshen up John Cena, the first move? make The Pink Dagger his manager! :woot:

On second thought, a Glee/WWE crossover was a terrible idea. The shows are just too different: one show is chock-full of flamboyantly gay characters and has blatant homoerotic overtones, and the other show has a lot of singing.

I'm glad I still haven't read the Prom spoilers.

JP! How could you not!? That 'extra' from Glee totally ruined it for everyone when she told the world who it was!

Except I don't surf the web looking for spoilers. It's really easy not to be spoiled.

Well, I do and it's quite possibly one of the worst things Glee will have done and no it doesn't involve Blaine, before anyone goes there. :p

I'm perfectly content not knowing until the episode airs. I don't even keep up with Glee-related websites. I pop into this thread for a few scraps of news and the next week's posted songs, and I use Wikipedia and the Glee Wikia whenever I forget a detail about something I've already seen. Screw spoilers.

Glee spoilers I find either tend out to be 100 percent wrong or were reported in a way that isn't the exact way they played out on the show.

The episode was fun, and had some REALLY good music, but I HATED the commercial breaks. They were driving me nuts! Pretty sure the episode was only 60 minutes long, with 30 minutes of commercials.

Glad I DVRd it and fast forwarded the commercials.

Favorite episode this season.

Glad to see Karofsky isn't leaving. I'd be disappointed if he just disappeared. As much as I hate the character, I like the actor.

This is why I hate living on the west coast. :csad:

And I really liked Sam's hair this week, and Kurt's at the end of the episode.
And I feel for Quinn. I used to be an ugly, fat loser, and now I'm a hot, muscular loser, on in Quinn's case, a skinny, pretty loser. :o

I'm still an ugly loser. :up:

No wishing needed. :)

God, Unpetty was even better in motion. Totally spent the entire epsiode verging on tears.

Santana solved McKinley's bullying problem in 15 minutes.

Santana 1; Will, Sue, and everyone else at the school, 0.

Exceptionally good songs this episode: I Feel Pretty/Unpretty, Somewhere Only We Know, As If We Never Said Goodbye, Born This Way.

Good acting from Jayma Mays.

Actually made me feel sympathy for Quinn, which doesn't happen often.

Love Santana when she goes into "devious b**** who gets crap done" mode.

Considering we already know [BLACKOUT]Kurt goes to prom with Blaine[/BLACKOUT], I'm gonna go out on a limb and presume the promo is Finn totally misinterpreting things, and maybe even an in-joke about the rumors about Sam's sexuality.
