Glee Episode V: The Sylvester Strikes Back

Consistency is a term best not used for a show run by Ryan Murphy. I feel the same thing can be said of Nip/Tuck and even the bit of Popular I've watched.
Yep, having watched both those shows, I knew what I was getting into when I started it (like I said in the beginning, I tend to think of Murphy shows as live-action cartoons, so realism and consistency in character or storylines is never something I'm looking for with him), so I rarely feel the urge to complain about it. Only when the characters royally p*** me off with seemingly zero effort made in giving them any kind of logical motivation (*cough*Jesse*and*Finn*cough*) do I rant. :cwink:

Popular is probably the closest to consistent he's ever come and that's because it only lasted two seasons.

Fondue for Two.
LORD TUBBINGTON!:awesome:

You know what puzzles me about Santana being in the closet? Doesn't most of the school think she and Brittany are bi-sexual, anyway? No one would question them getting in a relationship. Hell, people already know that they've done it.

Apparently an entire episode's worth of original songs wasn't enough for "Glee"-sters. The songs were such a smashing success that the team who penned one of the first originals, "Loser Like Me," is writing another track for the season finale.

In an interview with Digital Spy, songwriter Savan Kotecha says, "We've actually done another song for the season finale -- it's not been confirmed, but it's for Glee."

We aren't sure what direction Kotecha and Ryan Murphy plan to take with the song, but we'd just like to note that we were big fans of Puck's (Mark Salling) "Big A** Heart."

"Loser Like Me," sung by the entire New Directions ensemble, reached no. 6 on the Hot 100 chart in March.

I liked "Get It Right" and "Hell to the No" was catchy. "Loser Like Me" was a little cheesy but catchy enough, I guess. None of them are on my mp3 player though, which is chock-full of Glee songs. I did like the confetti slushies at the end of LLM.

Lord Tubbington should become a series regular :applaud

Santana will *****slap Brittany for outing her.

Nah. If there's one person Santana can't be mad at, or be a ***** too. It's Britt. Britt has Santana completely whipped.

Brittany S. Pierce... I think I love you. :hrt:

Santana, you're dead to me. :o

I want her to mention that she wants her cat to join Glee club and that he will sing the theme to Green Acres. :awesome:

I really want New Directions to do Mickey Avalon's "Stroke Me" with Artie as the lead. :o:up:

I thought all the guitars playing behind Artie was really cool. :awesome:

Yeah, it was a very necessary plotline. Lima is characterized as a loser town, but all the teenage characters seem to live fairly comfortable lives. This gave the characters a good dose of reality.

Gotta say Sam's plotline was moving and Chord and everyone involved acted beautifully.

Goodbye Artie. Hello Santana. Don't let the door hit your jackass self on the way out.

Guess that eliminates Bartie from being the major couple that breaks up in Funeral.

So, I had such low expectations for this epsiode because everything about it screamed filler to me, but I was pleasantly surprised.

April was as magical as always, and it killed me that Will couldn't just drop everything and go with her to New York. The number they rehearsed was hilarious, as well, and showed off Cheno's natural gifts.

Sam. Oh boy. Finally this kid is a character in my eyes. His plotline hit so close to home for me and I found myself getting extremely emotional at the end. The whole thing played out really well.

Also, just to troll: OMG KURT SAT NEXT TO SANTANA! BRING ON KURTANA!

That's a ship I'd sail!

They can go to one of those ex-gay conversion camps and end up doing the Roosevelt special together.

The only ship I believe in is Brawyer. :o

I want more of a Sam/Finn/Puck friendship. It seems like Puck and Finn barely interact anymore.
