Glee Episode V: The Sylvester Strikes Back

I really liked last night's episode. I was looking forward to getting more info on Sam. It was nice hearing him and Artie sing in the episode. I wish they would give them both more solos. I'm tired of Finn getting all the male leads.

He doesn't. In fact, Finn hasn't sang that much at all lately; I'm pretty sure Artie and Blaine have both had more stuff than him since the Christmas break.

Aww, Santana. So close, and yet, so far.

I thought it wouldve been nice in the continuation of showing Santanas "supportive, nice" side if they had her show support to Sam/stick up for him since they were dating probably over the time Sams financial crisis was happening. And well soemthing had to come out of that relationship.

I actually want Kurt and Santana friendship.

Im still waiting for my Kurtana scenes! She gets him back at McKinley, he finds out her devious plot and there is no "thank you" or confrontation?

I'd rather not deal with the obnoxious 16 year old psycho gleeks, so I'd rather see this in theaters than live.

Eh. If anything, I'd probably wait for the DVD.

Finally, they aired the long-awaited and highly anticipated Fleetwood Mac episode!

What? They didn't advertise this as "the Fleetwood Mac episode"? Most teenagers don't know Fleetwood Mac? Not as much press as the Madonna, Gaga, or Britney episodes? Really?

Anyway, I really dug this episode. Sam finally got something to do other than be the walking pair of lips that dates random women in the glee club. (Seriously, I was waiting for him to make his moves on Rachel or Mercedes at some point.)

It's always fun to see April again, even if her reappearance was all part of Sue & Terri's incredibly flawed plan.

Die in a fire, Jacob and Azimio.

Fixed. :o

Edit. :atp:

OHMIGOD! Look at the way she gazes at Mike! She's obviously straight and in love with that Asian persuasion.
I know from experience lesbians are sometimes attracted to Asian guys, because of our resemblance to butch Asian lesbians.

No, it wasn't that, haha. :p

Exactly the reason I'm excited about it. Plus I'd probably have to smack all the teenage girls that scream everytime Corey or Darren walk out.

The thought alone. D:

I'd be the one instigating fights between the girls attending.

Me: "Excuse me, young lady? The girl over there just told me that Darren Criss is ugly and Cory Monteith is a better singer and dresser."
Teenage girl: :cmad::cmad::cmad:

You can get the same result with fewer words

You: Excuse me? The girl over there called you a ****.

Teenage girl: :cmad::cmad::cmad:

Easier...

You: "There's another group of 16 year olds over there."

I'm almost 100% sure that an insult to Darren Criss would inspire much more volatile results than being called a ****.

This is Glee-based. Real world logic need not apply.

If only Quinn had a twin sister. That way we could kill Quinn but keep Agron.

Easier...

You: "There's another group of 16 year olds over there."

Even easier ...

You: Besides you, other people exist.

Goddammit, Finn, I really do hate you. :o

Ok, finally saw this episode....was better than I expected, given some stuff I'd heard about how meh it supposedly was.

- enjoyed Sue's disguises (though was I the only one who thought she looked more like Cher than Ann Coulter) and how Terri actually seems excited to be in cahoots with her

- Finn has no room to get so righteous about being cheated on after he deliberately stole Sam's girlfriend

- from someone who's always found Chord Overstreet "meh", I thought he acted well in the "big reveal" scene

- I liked "Go Your Own Way" and "Songbird" best out of the songs. I'm actually finding Santana a really three-dimensional and sympathetic character lately, and I second the calls for a Kurt/Santana friendship

- April's return was kind of pointless except for the "dangle Broadway dreams before Schue's eyes" angle, though I did enjoy "Dreams". Is it just me, or does it smack a little of ratings grabs/running out of new ideas the way they're bringing in this whole round-up of old guest stars leading up to the Season 2 finale? (Sandy, Terri, Dustin Goolsby, Sunshine, Jesse next episode). I'm waiting for Ken Tanaka to make a reappearance. And yet Shelby, who's more important than any of them, has yet to appear. I guess it's possible to see her in the finale, but they've been filming and I think we'd have heard something by now.

- the promo makes me really want the prom episode, like, now. Kurt in a kilt! Quinn uber-b****-slap! Jesse returns! Surprise Prom Queen Twist!

Werent we suppose to get a original song for April? 10am and Im drunk, or were they just kidding when they said that.
