Superman Returns is through Warner Bros and Spider-Man 3 is through Columbia Pictures. I am not positive but I don't think movie companies advertise trailers to other filming companies.

it is rare.. but companies can pay other companies to promote their material.. and Warner Bros might be able to cash on on Spidey fans coming to see the trailer

****!!!!!!!!!!!!! that would be so great!!! Superman just might break opening day record if they play Sm3's teaser with it, I know alot of us spider-man fans will go see it immediately because of that.

The other problem he was bummed out about not getting a picture of Topher (even though he and Cromwell were out for a long time), but he stood and talked to Sam Raimi for a long time but didn't get a picture of him?

I don't know, Dragon is right.
Plus, they are both comic movies.. it would just make sense.

You're mostly right but if it's a big movie they will advertise with different companies, look at last summer. War of the Worlds(Paramount) had a trailer with Star Wars(Fox), King Kong(Universal) had a trailer with War of the Worlds.

Ghost rider is from Columbia also- but the trailer played with X-men. And Supes trailer played with X-men also- and X is Fox.

well... we'll wait and see about that trailer kids. specially since the SR release date keeps getting bumped up (its June 27 now) lets hope the SM3 trailer is tied to the SR reel (the way the SR trailer was tied to the XM3 reel)
