why? when you read it there's actually very little info disseminated. we already know there's a brock, we already know topher is playing him. we already know there's a black suit.

brock + black suit = venom

so all he said was last 10 minutes. it could mean that Pete is "venom" as the suit takes over. it could mean a lot of things. it doesn't mean there's going to be a spidey vs. venom brawl or that the venom he speaks of is pete or brock. pete could spend the last 10 minutes or so battling to get the suit off and it doesn't hook up with brock until right before the credits roll.

basically all that was apparently spilled here is that once on brock the logo will be white.

This is just a generilization of Raimi and his charachter, i don't know him personally but from what i've heard, yes, he'll spill the beans cause he wants to hear what the fans think and he wants to make a good movie, he's worried about whether or not it will suck.

I thinks its the studio, Arad, and Ziskin keeping everything under tight wraps.

Good to hear a teaser could be playing with SR : Superman was mentionned twice in the previous SM films so I wouldn't be surprised if the teaser had another Superman reference in it !

Raimi likes to screw with actors/Bruce Campbell/everyone/us. Believe none of what you hear and half of what you see. eg, him doing the opposite of what SHH reported on the teaser with Talledega Nights.

Teaser with Superman makes alot of sense though.

Well everyone here says Raimi likes to say things he doesn't mean and mean things he doesn't say so maybe by hesitating and saying yes he was thinking of how to answer. It's possible he confirmed that he was in the last 10 min but that doesn't mean he is in ONLY the last 10 min. We could still get Venom in more of the movie.

Saimi likes to screw with actors and stuff, but he´s always nice to fans on the set. This jives with what we been hearing. Not that I particularly care, but there you go, Venom fans, black suit, white spider... If I´m not mistaken, Hayden Church also said in an interview that Venom only appears late in the movie.

I´d be happy as hell with the teaser being with SR, but... I live in Brazil, the trailers here usually don´t play with the same movies as in USA, so whether it´s SR or Taladega Nights, I will have to see it online... sigh.

i hope the teaser is like the teaser for 2. starts small then an action scene (the car goin thru the window) followed by nostalgic shots of spidey swinging around new york (obviously showing him swinging in symbiote) all intercut
with teaser shots

Does that mean cliff hanger? Or they tell the whole story of the greatest Spider-man villian in 10 minutes?

Cliffhanger, Raimi woulden't screw that up.. even though he hates the character, he woulden't risk ruining his movie for it.

I remember reading an article a while back where Thomas Haden Church said that his character is just the villain in the story where as Topher Grace plays Peter's arch nemesis in the movie.

Are you talking about the Starburst interview? Because THC stated that his situation/role was the "arch nemesis" type and that Topher (although a "villain") was just a normal guy for most of the movie.

If you guys look at it as the symbiote as the villian then the symbiote will have lots of screen time.The symbiote will mess with our hero's morals,his life,then it will take on the form of a physical threat known as Venom trying to kill spidey.

If you guys only see the symbiote as a villain when it only becomes Venom,then yeah Venom will only have the last 10 minutes of the movie to fight spidey and then dies.

Hey GG2 could of been a main villain in his own spidey movie just like Venom could of been,but instead were seeing the GG2's story in the beginning of the movie and then the GG2 is defeated.

Remember in the movie world things get told fast,there not comics.
