When I read Rooker name I thought for sure it was Rocket

But nonetheless another great addition to the cast

Maybe not in the form of a raccoon but he's in the movie nonetheless.

Probably won't be the biggest role but Rooker will make the most of it

Glad he's not Rocket though, his voice just doesn't fit the character

It's funny how Marvel have managed to get both Hawkeye and now Yondu out in their movies, and DC still haven't managed it with Green Arrow. That's twice they've beaten them to the punch now.

But why still no casting on Rocket and Groot, and no confirmation on Gamora?

It's funny how Marvel have managed to get both Hawkeye and now Yondu out in their movies, and DC still haven't managed it with Green Arrow. That's twice they've beaten them to the punch now.

At least Arrow his own tv show that's been pretty successful so far though.

I thought they'd be casting bigger names from now on. At least Rooker is in what could be a relatively small role.

But does that mean we're also getting Vance Astro, Charlie-27, Martinex and Nikki? And what about Star Hawk? Is he too similar in name to Star Lord?

They seriously need to add Vance Astro. He and Yondu were tight in the original Guardians, so it doesn't make sense to have one without the other. Seeing Vance with Captain America's shield would be mindblowing.

Gunn is probably saving the big....guns for Rocket and Groot and the main villain.

Why would they even bother to hire someone famous for Groot? All he ever says is "I am Groot." They could have any voice actor read that line once and use it repeatedly.

And maybe Rooker can pull double duty and still do the voice-acting for Rocket.

It'd be kinda hard to conceptualize Vance, though. His main "schtick" is that he's the 31st century Cap, with the original shield, no less. It'd be hard to make that work in the MCU, needless to say.

I had no idea Yondu was going be in this! I have old GOTG issue from the 90s and I liked the cover because of Yondu!
