I haven't read the latest update - I will get to it cuz I'm interested in Caliph's story, it's been interesting so far.

But I got no problem with him posting his stuff here. It's the community forum, where we are supposed to talk about whatever.

I do know that if anybody that wasn't Caliph were to make the same type of thread, it'd be instantly merged with the Relationship Advice thread... but even with that, I still don't care about Caliph having a thread just for himself for this.

So Caliph, you keep doing what you're doing man.

However, I see users b****ing about their life everyday here. Life happens and Hypesters have always come here to vent. Just because I am a mod doesn't make me any different.

I'm equally as detailed oriented with every thread I create here. You should see my essays on...well, everything else on the Hype. Peep my record...it's what I'm known for.

That's all fine and well, and I've seen some users b******* too. But I haven't personally seen other users giving numerous updates about their situations as though it were a blog.

And anyway, aren't most of the things you're asking about suitable for the Relationship Advice thread? If everyone on here made a separate thread to talk about the various romance-related problems in their lives (and I know that many people on here have interesting ones) the Community Forum would be full of mini-blogs.

If LS had posted this in the relationship thread he would have just taken it over and that thread would be this thread anyways. I don't see what the problem is with this thread....it's the most interesting thing on the site right now IMO. If members don't like the thread just don't click on it.

WOW, sounds like Jason was quite a wild-man. However, it also sounds like he had a hell of a fun time. He's a grown man, so if he wants to get drunk and shake it on a bar, that's his choice. It doesn't sound like you egged him on or anything. He's probably stressed over all the drama lately, and just let loose.

I'm not sure if I would force a conversation about the night. If he wants to talk about it, hopefully he'll bring it up.

Maybe he's just embarrassed, the guy sounds like he doesn't usually let his emotions out and is just a little embarrassed about what happened. You seem to be overanalyzing every little thing in your relationship LS, things seem fine between you two, just calm down. He may be sensing you freaking out and freaking out himself because of it, what happening now may be years of repression what he really feels/felt coming out.

I want to make it known that I have zero problem with Caliph having this thread. In fact, I'm still upset over whoever it was that complained over the "graphic nature" of the whole thing.

But you know just as well as I do that if I made a thread like this, that it would be instantly merged with the Relationship Advice thread. While I don't particularly care that Caliph has, and is allowed to have his own thread (and I don't say this to get anything merged, so don't take it that way), it's an obvious double standard that Caliph is allowed to have this thread, when many other posters would have their threads merged if they made the same thread.

All kinds of people have all kinds of threads. That's what community is for. If something can be merged it will. That being said, I think this whole situation is well beyond 'relationship advice'. If you read the initial post, it started out as an assault story...not 'what do I do about this relatonship?' Assault gave way to Jason which gave way to stalking actions on David's behalf.

46 pages later with thousands of views...I think it's quite obvious why this should be an independent thread.

I think I agree with Lee. It sounds like Jason is trying to prove himself to you or something.

I think Jason was just drunk. I've done ridiculous things on a dance floor after drinking a few too many.
