The Force Awakens Han Solo Will Return

That doesn't make sense, the massacre in the temple happened at most only a few years before TFA since Kylo Ren was an adult already.
Rey's memory clearly indicates she's on Jaaku since childhood.

Isn't Kylo also like 14 years older then Rey though?

The timeline for the attack on Luke's Jedi academy confuses me too. How long before the start of TFA did it happen? Ten years? Five? Two? What I gathered was that Luke had been gone for a very long time, like fifteen years, but maybe that's too long. Does anyone know?

It's presumed that it happened around the same time Rey was left on Jakku when she was about 4/5 years old so I'd say it's been about 15 years...

Which could still work. Kylo is 39 right? So he was 15 when he attacked the academy.

There is supposed to be 11 years between Rey and Ben. In TFA. ..Rey is 19....and Ben should be at least close to thirty since the gap between 6 and 7 is 30-32 years.

Which is a reasonable age to presume he'd be when he attacks Lukes padawans. Ben/Kylo is likely around 29-30 whereas Rey is 19-20.

That's what most of us thought, but Pablo Hidalgo from the Lucasfilm story group has indicated otherwise. His Twitter comments seem to indicate that the academy attack only happened like 3-5 years before TFA, so much later than Rey being left on Jakku.

That's very odd...does anyone have a link to the tweets?

So rumor has it Disney is close to casting a young Han Solo to appear in Rouge One as a cameo. But I wondering how hand could fit in that story, even as a cameo. Also, I remember reading that George Lucas was going to have a young kid version of Han ( age 8 or 9) in Revenge of The Sith.

I remember that rumor of a young kid Han...haha. If I recall, a lot of ppl thought that was the dumbest idea ever. myself included...like why? Why would you want to include a young version of han when we're only gonna see him for like a brief moment...like, no thanks.

Marvel reveals Star Wars: Han Solo comic FIRST LOOK

The story involves a starship race known as the Dragon Void Run. “Han’s been dreaming
of entering this thing for his entire life,” Liu says. “He finally gets
the chance, except there’s a catch: Leia thinks there are spies in the Rebellion, and she doesn’t dare send anyone else to retrieve these vital informants who are on various planets in the system.”

As Han and Chewie start sheltering these Rebel contacts aboard the Millennium Falcon, the Corellian pilot fights the pull of his own ego’s tractor beam: If he ditches the mission, maybe he can actually win this thing.

New Han Solo comic series set after Episode IV and before V has the storyline of Han as a racing pilot competitor, as was referenced in the TFA Visual Dictionary as Han's future occupation after Return of the Jedi.

TFA Visual Dictionary said:
Old Habits
After the Galactic Civil War, Han's Solo's life took unexpected turns as he became husband to an influential New Republic politician, a family man, and - for a time - a successful racing pilot. But the peace of this life was not to last, and after a profound tragedy upended what had become normal for the Corellian, Solo returned to his old life as a tramp freighter captain, smuggler, and freelance law bender. Chewbacca returned to Solo's side, and although much had changed, in many ways it was like the old days.
