The Dark Knight Harvey Dent/Two Face Thread

I liked Dent's half-scarred suit. It was a lot better looking than what Joel Schumacher did. If anything Harvey looked more badass than anything else with the suit he was wearing.

I don't care what anyone says, everything about the look of Two-Face was perfect. From the suit up to the face...my goodness.

Two-Face's half-scarred suit was stupid as hell.

That is one thing that Nolan didn't have to stay true to.
It wasn't half scarred...Just near the top of the jacket and near the bottom of the pant leg.

If he wanted to stay true to it, one half of the suit would've been completely different fabric/color/stitching. The tie would've been halved, so as his shirt, and his shoes.

I have to say my favorite Two-Face scene was
his final confrontation with Gordon and Batman. Everything about that scene was perfect due to the fact that it was so intense, the music was haunting, and the acting was brilliant.

My favorite line was
"Lie. Like I lied." Aaron delivered it perfectly and the music fit the moment. You can easily bring him back honestly because you didn't see a funeral, you didn't see a coffin, and I think it was left for him to return should Nolan want to do a third film.

Well, that part of the suit caught on fire too, and what was Harvey going to do after the hospital? Going out to buy clothes or just go out in the hospital robes? Or just use the clothes he had when admitted. Granted, the paramedics and doctors would have ripped them off, but it's not about the clothes, it's about movie magic.

My favorite line was "We thought we could be decent men in an indecent time!"

Eckhart is awesome. :wow:

Yes, he was. That was a great line you just quoted. Aaron to me IS Two-Face after watching this film. Granted I wish we could've seen more of him because when he was on a screen he was just mindblowing.

I'm pretty sure Nolan won't let all that talent go to waste & will have Aaron return for a sequel. Aaron has said that he'd love to return in the role I believe.

I saw him in this movie called the Core & he was pretty good in that as well. So, adding TDK, I've only seen him in two movies, and he was at the top of his game in both.

You know,
Two-Face being secretly incarcerated then escaping would be a way to clear Bats' name

Eckhart was the man in Thank You for Not Smoking, so i was confident he'd give us something good.

After seeing the Core I gained a lot more confidence in him. He already had the look so I had a little more confidence from that alone.

Personally, my favorite Two-Face line was "You die," to Joker.

He said "You live, you die" while showing him the different sides of the coin.

i saw that movie right before Eckhart was announced, and i got really excited. Eckhart really was one of the top performers in this film, second imo only to Heath.

I couldn't agree more. This was my favorite scene in the film. :cwink:

But I do think he's dead. :csad:

Agreed. The villains were the guys to play in the movie. Not saying Bale wasn't awesome, but I do feel the other two characters were better roles to play in this movie specifically (while of course, Bruce was the role to play in BB).

Did any one know there was a two face scene at the end of the credits? I didn't see that, dang.

I'd also give some props to Gary Oldman. Man, they actually gave him some stuff to work with in this film, and he rocked it lol. but your right, Harvey and The Joker were def the roles to play in this one.

Yes, Oldman was much better than that fatass Gordon we got in the old movies. And there was no scene after the credits of Two-Face.
