Harvey Dent/Two-Face Thread

Christopher Abbott, 33, from Amazon’s Catch 22. He’s a good up-and-coming actor, but not too high profile nor a big name. He’d be a great recurring villain, or tragic story depending on when the franchise introduces us to Harvey’s story.

Not going to lie, as much as I doubt this would happen (Abbott seems to be a bit too indie to be interested in auditioning for a blockbuster like this), I think he'd be an amazing Harvey Dent for many of the same reasons that @Boom and I loved the idea of him playing Batman.

This is one of the best fancasts I've seen for Harvey, right here. Once we'd see him turn into Two-Face, he'd be utterly terrifying.

May be a bit too young for a District Attorney, but far be it for me to complain. Dude's a legit talent.

Maybe, but it's not like Abbott wouldn't be able to play above his age by a few years to fit into the part. Especially with a bit of makeup and lighting to emphasize a slightly more tired/worn out look.

Baltimore’s current State Attorney is 39, so it’s not so unbelievable.

Yeah, I'd always figured Harvey was in his mid-to-late 30's when he became District Attorney. Early 40's at most. So personally I feel like Abbott could easily pull off 'aging up' a good five or so years to be a convincing enough age to play a young, charismatic District Attorney in his prime.

Seems like they're wanting to cast close in age to Pattinson, and if the Jeremy Strong casting rumors were true, they're not necessarily looking for an A-lister.

I don't know how good he would be as Deny, but as Two-Face, Kirk Acevedo would knock it out of the park.

Strong is 7 years older than Pattinson. If anything I'd take that as meaning Reeves doesn't care about him being close in age to Robert

I just mentioned Strong in relation to his status, not his age.

How about Jamie Bell? I think he can play a charming do-gooder pretty well while also has the range to depict that underlying darkness within him. He's also the same age as Robert and friends with him irl so they would probably have enough chemistry to be best friends on film.

Going by looks alone, I'd say Ratcatcher.or Zsasz

Zsasz is bald and has tally marks on his body, one for every one of his victims. I don't think Zsasz would get a tattoo because he wants to save his body for "the mark" (as he calls it).

I agree he wouldn't get tattoos like that but he does have some big ugly ones in the Arkham games. Not that he neccasirly should though

Having seen him to some good work in "The Deuce", I could see Luke Kirby as Harvey Dent. He has this nervous energy where he always seems slightly on edge.
