Ugh, just ****ing stop already, we get it.
Just a heads up, he never stops.

Oh well, I tried, lol.
Fargo is so much better. Don't get me wrong I loved S1 of TD but Fargo has everything. Noir, comedy, action, interesting setting, amazing characters, interesting plots and twists. Just the trailer for S2 was more interesting than the 5 episodes we've gotten of TD S2.
Not to change the subject, but someone at work recommended I watch Fargo if I liked the TD kind of stuff. You guys agree I should check it out?
Anyone think this season having essentially 4 leads and thus less time for singular character depth and development compared to how well season one was able to do it with 2 leads is part of the reason for the complaints?
That part shook me at first since I hadn't been following any production stuff with the show and thought going in it was going to be a similar format with Farrell and Vaughn as the two co-cop leads. I've grown to like all 4 parts and how they're coming together, but the show has really shined to me in the moments where Farrell and McAdams are together, gives a bit of the feel of last season's duo
Their scene together in this episode was my favorite in the episode. One of my favorites in the season actually. It really shows that The Black Rose seems like this pit where these lost souls gather. These four leads really are these lost souls scrambling to find their way in L.A. L.A. feels more like a prison that they can't get out of. Which is really this noir trope that you see.
I think someone like Val Kilmer would be good in this show. Kilmer needs a comeback role and he can put in a good performance when he wants to.
The only character I haven't really enjoyed yet is Kitsch (sp?). I don't much care for his story or see where it fits into the grand scheme, but I'm assuming his threads will ultimately come into play in the last few eps. I mean he's got the whole sex scandal thing, possible gay hookup, mom problems, and random preggo gf, it just seems like a lot of random threads with no real direction compared to the others. Idk I could be overthinking it Lol.

As someone else said, it's not that it's a minority that likes it so much as it is that the season is, evidently, getting a very mixed response and has been really divisive so far.

Funny, my husband and I had this very conversation yesterday.I think someone like Val Kilmer would be good in this show. Kilmer needs a comeback role and he can put in a good performance when he wants to.

I find it scatterbrained as well. I have all the eps saved. I'm hoping that a binge watch when it's over will make it make more sense.Im not liking this season and it has very little to nothing to do with how I feel about the first season.
Holding this as it's own thing, to me it's still kinda boring and scatter brained.
On tonight's ep: It's was ok. The tail end was a lot better than the beginning and it saved the episode. Vince Vaughn's character though...dammit man, he is just so boring
Agreed on all of that.Thought tonight was a really great episode. Now listen I absolutely love the first season. and that stands on its own as its one thing and in high regard for me. But does anyone else like me still really like this season? I'm enjoying it, obviously it's not the first but I'm liking it a lot still and loving these last few episodes too. Ready for the last 2.
