Nope. Dark blue and white is too much Captain America.

Black and silver for a majority of JL and a return to the blue and red by the end is good. Black and silver is classic 90's Superman and is considered his alternate suit. And if there's one thing I definitely don't want is Superman taking cues from Captain "Hail Hydra" America. **** that!! Captain America should be taking cues from Superman, even if it's just aesthetics.

I should've been more specific, my mistake.

You know how the MOS and BvS suits were shining?. I mean have a black suit that kind of glows a dark blue. Like the Bruce Timm animated one. It has a little shade of blue.. I mean not blue like Cap. But more like the second picture. Since the suit shines with lighting, it could look like it glows blue sort of.. I mean like the blue black colour on fabrics and stuff. It might look cool with how they made the suit look really alien.

I don't mind if they don't do that, but it is still is an idea. I noticed that the family of El wear the blue shade of under suits, so I thought maybe it doesn't need to be like really really dark black like the nolan or burton batman suits.

I just want a Superman that knows what he has to do and has the powers to do it and ain't worried about anything else. He's earned that. We as an audience have earned that.

100 percent agree.

So it's been probably discussed before for the next movie, but anyone else is getting slightly tired of seing the overusage of heat vision, yet no super breath ?

I want freeze breath!

I remember there was a scene in BvS where it looked like he was about to use the freeze breath but then he stopped to save Lois. Not sure why they are so reluctant to use that power. It's not like heat vision and flight are any more realistic.

It looks stupid in their solidified world. It never aligns with reason he has the other abilities in the comics. He can fly because earth's gravity, his strength and abilities come from the different sun. How the hell is he able to generate air from his mouth that is so cool. I could imagine he could produce normal wind with his breath. But how does he make it cold and change the temperature of his breath. It also looks too campy and dumb...

And making heat lasers shoot out of his eyes makes more sense?

There seem to be clear rule for Kryptonians with power in MOS/BvS world:

--Kryptonians get all of their powers from radiation by exposure (to specific type of star like our Sun) and/or stored (like battery) energy.

--Kryptonians need to train to use their powers. See Zod going berserk in MOS with heat blast.

--Kryptonians lose the ability to use their power (stored energy) when breathing in Kryptonians environment, see Superman meeting Zod in the retrofitted ship.

I'm fairly sure that Synder & co have thought about Super breath as far back as pre-production of MOS. It is mostly associated with pre-Crisis comics. I wouldn't mind if he developed super breath --just normal breathing but 1000x that of human. However, "ice-breath" is like taking it a bit too far and removed Superman from being a "realistic" alien being :lmao:

That looks like Amy's husband Darren beside HC...so is this new? I remember they did a thing where fully-grown bats were brought to the set of BvS (I Think they were using parts of the set to make bat houses?) and although Batfleck introduced it, only Amy and Zack were actually there. And HC adopted a bat at the Durell Conservation centre and called it Ben...but this baby bat thing is new to me and I'm just like :atp:

far more realistic then ice coming out his mouth lol

How do you know they are "heat" lasers though? lol. Plus I think it works because other Alien characters are given that power already. Plus giving him too many out of the box powers is kind of ridiculous. People would be like what else can he do? He already has too many powers. Freeze breath is just too dumb and over the top for Superman. However Super breath could work. I am fully satisfied with his current power set. He is already a OP character. They don't need to make him more OP. Just more heroic and happy.

Actually if he had superbreath artic breath would be the logical followup according to the Joule Thomson effect, but as it stands he has no super-breath so Artic Breath is a no go for the moment.

Maybe they will give him ice breath after the resurrection...

Except all visual clues in BvS and MoS say they aren't Lasers they are heat and light generated and projected from his eyes that once it gets hot enough causes the air around the heat path to erupt in flames and turn into plasma at full power. (It is actually my favorite part of the Zack Snyder Superman heat vision as well as the way he makes the heat vision effect the skin around his eyes). What is the difference between lasers and heat you ask; well eyes that can project lasers are much harder to explain biologically than eyes that can project light/heat. The explaination could be as simple as their ancestors were cave dwellers in the past and as a result gained bioluminescent eyes that can be turned on or off that when generating light also generates heat. When put on earth with a sun that supercharges them it powers up that ability and turns it into heat vision.

To me it looked more like he was about to do a flying ground pound on Doomsday.

Does anyone know if there's been any official word that Henry is currently filming for JL and not still getting his body back into shape for the role? I know Jessie confirmed that he won't start filming his role as Lex until August, but it seems like we've had word that most of the cast members have already been filming their respective roles.

Well they're not doing outdoor shooting at the moment an unless you're a visitor to Leavsden Studios ,no ones knows for sure. The guy also lives in London bet he goes home nearly every day.

I'm going to go out on a limb here and say they are "heat" lasers because it's commonly called "heat vision."
