I am right. You just have to see the reaction all over the web.

I'm not buying into the minimal screen time talk, or that they'll drop the ball with these scenes in a way which leaves people frustrated. Sure, he'll probably have one big action scene, but I'm also predicting a reunion with Lois, Martha Kent and some kind of address to the world as well. The JL trailers have shown that all of the members get their moments to shine. I mean, Aquaman alone rides the Batmobile and does other crazy stuff. Superman's surely going to get this type of treatment as well, but tailored to his abilities. I'm quietly confident about that.

At this point, I may not know much. But if there's one thing that I'm willing to bet everything on, it's that even IF superman gets a great scene and heart-to-heart reunions with Lois and Martha....I am CONFIDENT that he will not have any good scenes with the League (sans Batman).

That it will be like BvS all over again where the communication between him and the league is like what it was with Wonder Woman: Non-existent.

Though we don't know what we're getting, when Superman will appear nor do we know what he'll be doing. Of course He still has to talk to Lois and she may be the first person he goes to. He also has to see his mom and probably have their little heart-to-heart.

There's plenty of things that can go right just as much as wrong, but we just have to wait and see of course. I choose to be optimistic.

Also, I think that the death of Superman tied into the movie very well. It's a major part of Superman's history and also one of his best story lines.

Sure, the approach to telling the DCEU story is far different than what we are used to, though it's no different than what is done in comics. There are multiple universes with various different stories.

Well his revival was somewhat spoiled not too long ago.

Someone credible saw a picture at Comic Con of Wonder Woman,
Aquaman, Flash, and Cyborg at Metropolis trying to protect his casket and him waking up with the dress pants that he was buried in (no shirt).

Now, for whatever reason, it really seems like something happens where he gets separated from the group, hence why he returns so "late" as Alfred phrases. My money is that he went to see Lois or Martha.

But again, like I've said, his solo arc sacrifices his time with the League making him the ultimate outsider still. Jor-el's whole thing about them joining him in the sun is bull because it seems like Clark doesn't even join them until the final battle.

Thus, for those of us who waited our entire lives to see Superman meet and interact with these guys, we got ****ed and we got ****ed badly by the producers of this film. For those that are willing to wait a few more years to see another JL film that might resolve this issue, good luck to you guys because that takes a lot of strength and patience.

Granted there's no telling how soon it will be, but I didn't take a lack of sequel announcement at SDCC as there being no such sequel in the works. I took it as, they've gone to the trouble of hiding Superman's material in JL thus far, of course they're not going to be like "The Kryptonian is Dead..... Enjoy his movie in 2020."

I'm pretty sure it's not gonna be Superman appears in Jl and then we don't see him on screen until MOS2. He is most likely going to be in Shazam and Flashpoint so we're not gonna feel like we never see him. There's also possibilities that he may cameo in other films along the way too.

We had speculated that Justice League would explore the "The World without Superman" storyline. Really was pleased that was the main focus of this trailer.

Personally, I think that line from Bruce would have worked if they had shown more shots of Superman's memorial statue or something alluding to him while that line was being said. It felt so randomly place when we were seeing all of those action shotz.

Zack literally showed us how Superman didn't just save people but made them better through a character named Pete. He also did this for a guy named Bruce (a.k.a. the man who is saying the line). He saved Lois and showed Lois there are more important things than headlines, and she went on to protect his secret and remain a steadfast ally. He showed Colonel Hardy he could be better, too. Even as Superman was saving the world from the world engine in the Indian Ocean, we also see Perry and Steve saving Jenny from a collapsed building in Metropolis.

The fact that he could be mourned in death by those who persecuted him in life revealed that his example of heroism and sacrifice could open people's hearts to see beyond their cynicism. Humanity's ability to see the beautiful truth of Superman through the revelation of his selflessness and mortality made humanity a monument to Superman's ability to inspire hope and the best in people.

i don't know... emphasis has to give to flash & aquaman as they are new and getting the solo films. batman and WW are the lead... and having their sequels too. so the most dispensable is superman and cyborg... just logical thinking

I have no doubt Clay Enos did a composite of this poster with him included.

Here's my prediction. We don't get a full JUSTICE POSTER with Superman until opening weekend. Because as many have pointed out, you can't have the first ever JUSTICE LEAGUE film and not have a poster that doesn't include Superman.

So, on opening weekend, there will be a poster that drops that have them all. Hopefully it's this one we got this weekend just with Superman added because this poster is one of the best posters I've seen in many moons.

As a huge Superman fan (I am generally more of a Marvel guy when it comes to comics, but Superman is one of my favourite characters full stop) I think the way they are marketing his role is great and I wouldn't want them to change it. They are just giving enough to tease us and let casual fans know he is coming back.

But I think it's been edited in the trailer.

"Superman was a beacon to the world" part is referring to how other threats from other worlds has found planet Earth.

While the other part on how he save people will be on another scene.

I think in the movie, those 2 quotes will be on 2 different scenes and was just edited in the trailer to be one.

If The quote would have said that he was a Beacon OF HOPE then it would have fit the other part of the sentence but I think it was just edited in the trailer.

LOL, really? I wasn't even expecting what we got! The storytelling in the trailer is all about Superman. The Man of Steel theme is modified and blasting at the tail end (which sounds heroic!) and we got the tease without any spoilers. You're doing it to yourself now. Seriously, what did you expect after all this time? There's no more secrets in how WB is going about things. Superman's role is big and they are protecting it. They've held their ground. Something they NEEDED to do.

As for the MoS sequel, of course they wouldn't announce it quite yet. That would totally detour what they've set up thus far with Justice League and Superman's arc, respectfully, in that film. We're just going to have to be more patient and see how it plays off where everything will make sense. If WB is going extra lengths with all of this, especially with people like Johns involved, then there has to be a solid reason as to why and there's payoff at the end. I KNOW we all know Superman is going to be in it. I KNOW he's been on water bottles and cups. That's not the point. This is the route takin' and judging how they've managed to keep things shielded is impressive in its own right regarding Superman, regardless of the fan service and pressure (which didn't help the cause when the studio showed us the Trinity and Doomsday in BvS's #2 trailer.) I have an epic feeling it'll all be worth it.
