I'm inclined to think Batman isn't there because he's the one reviving Supes in the scout ship. Supes returns and is probably confused, but the League doesn't know it yet. That's why I think the League are standing together, looking up at something in the Heroes Park moment in the Comic-Con Sneak Peek. Then a small fight ensues between shirtless Supes and the League before Batman can reach them.

Where's this 20-30min talk coming from? Pure speculation from fans or based on a leak/evidence?

I did read the Geoff Johns article awhile back. It did say clark/superman would have about 30 minutes of screen time and several great moments including 2 'WOW' moments.

it's been awhile and you would have to search for it.

I imagine several key words in a google search would find it.

I'm pretty sure we already saw this play out in Man of Steel when Clark decided to surrender to humanity following Zod's message. Superman came forward in a very public way at Finch's committee hearing, too. Whether the human race accepted Superman was the question left unanswered. So Justice League is more of chance to finally see humanity aligned with and proud of Superman (and the Justice League). Superman already made a choice to stand proud in front of the human race.

The only part that hasn't borne fruit yet is the part for which the human race alone is responsible, which means the "choice" to which Jonathan referred has already happened on Clark's part.

Yeah but as we've seen from others some people are far more bothered about the amount of screentime he has

Random thought...the more I see these images of Cavill as Superman, whether it's for Justice League promotion, Man of Steel images, how he's been in none of the trailers or teases for JL, Geoff Johns tweeting that the list of best DCEU Superman moments will need to be revised, the more and more I'm really anticipating what's done with Superman, not just in Justice League, but beyond that.

Part of that is the greater appreciation I have for Man of Steel nowadays, but also because, being cautiously optimistic here, I do hope it is indeed a triumphant return for Superman and where this universe will take him going forward.

As much as I love Superman I'm not worried about the screen time or the marketing. I would like to see him take part of the additional footage in case Snyder and Whedon have a great idea for an additional Superman sequence.

I still think Supes is resurrected before the big battle most probably on the ship but he either has no memories or wakes up weaker. Maybe fighting Parademons weakens him further and he goes off to recuperate. Maybe both those things hapoen.
