It takes an impressive amount of incompetence to somehow mess up attaching a computer generated cape.

The CGI in JL suffers because they threw out half of what they'd done a few months before release.

If there had been no reshoots, the CGI on, for example, Steppenwolf would have been a lot better. But when the reshoots happened, all resources were diverted to trying to rush all of the VFX for those scenes.

Instead of polishing up what was almost finished, they had to do new scenes from scratch.
They didn't have time to worry about the cape, they were too focused on Cav-Els face.

Trying to do a bunch of CGI heavy scenes very quickly led to an inferior product.

A lot of Zack's visuals for Watchmen and DCU were amazing.

At least bring back Larry Fong

Larry's sensibilities for CBMs are tied so much with Zack's. I'm ready for something brand new. There's literally hundreds of capable cinematographers out there who could shoot beautifully.

I do think being wishy-washy about Henry's inclusion was a negative. If you're gonna have him there for the press junkets, you might as well send him out to the talk shows.

That's an understatement. Cavill oozes charisma in those situations; he should have been out promoting the film as much as possible.

Plus he brings his adorable dog with him

God the marketing dept is so dumb

They are lost. How can they fail to market JL ?
Even if the movie was utter trash (which it isn't), they could have successfully managed to market it just by having cast members appear in talk-shows, promo-events etc

How can they fail to use charisma of Henry Cavill, Jason Momoa, Gal Gadot, Amber Herd, Ray Fisher, Ezra Miller, Amy Adams and Ben Affleck is beyond my understanding.

A film that keeps on giving long after its original release. I never noticed on how Superman's CGI Cape wasn't even attached properly for this shot.

God, that scene was just SO bad. Also, as much as the nerd in me enjoyed the nod if the post credit race scene, it was just a repeat of a gag they did IN the movie with THIS scene. And the forced comradery was so bad, and clearly not earned.

A less forced nod during the battle would have been good, without the "slowpoke" line, and then MAYBE do the race scene as a post credit sting on the SEQUEL, if at all.

Henry really goes all out with effusive praise for McQuarrie in an interview with Geek Exchange.

I have a really good feeling about this. Henry works so hard for Superman, and he really cares about the character, and he deserves to be in a unequivocally successful movie as Superman.

We all pretty much want the same thing. We might have different ideas on how to get there but I would love to see Henry get another shot as Superman and have it turn out as an unequivocal success.

I talked with someone who saw Fallout and that person really loved Henry in the role

Also the film is apparently very good

Henry is moving and he is shaming his dog for not helping :funny:

If they're going to have humor in the next Superman film, just let Henry write those scenes. Dude is hilarious.

McQuarrie would be such an awesome choice for MOS2, loved all of his movies so far.

Surprised WB left this scene in. Look how angry he looks. He's not even smiling! :o

Those were the days...

How did you react when this pic was released, way back when?

Also, love how you come out of the woodwork whenever a MOS suit image is posted :funny:
