It's funny how Henry's hair looked more Superman-like in this film than it did in his own Superman films.

Yeah. And I think His M:I-6 hair was his best Superman hair yet. I don't get why they don't give him a straightening perm on these films like they did on those, instead of just plastering his curls down.

Agreed. Personally, I hated the hairstyle that they used for him in BvS. It was very uncomplimentary towards his hairline and made his forehead stand out more.

They should have at least gone with the hairstyle used for his Clark Kent persona.

The hairline isn't the problem for me as long as the hair attached to it looks healthy. Which is what you get when you straighten his hair instead of just trying to restrain the curls with product. This is some niiiiiice Superman hair, imo:

Henry looks his absolute best in MoS and Snyder's JL. They went with more of the dry look in JL and I think he looks awesome. Right out of the comic books.

BvS was more Alex Ross-esq with wetness. Probably because of the many Gotham scenes with rain, etc.

I think his hairstyle was fine in MOS (and from the looks of it, Snyder's JL). But yeah, his hairstyle in BvS was dowright awful.

Cavill is Superman incarnate, honestly!! Everything from the chiseled features, to the blue eyes, to the wavy hair to the chest hair (John Byrne style) and the comicbook style physique, the guy is a comicbook come to life and to top it all off he loves and values Superman as a character beyond the confines of "I gotta like the character because I'm playing him" .
I hope to dear god that what I've been told about his contract is true because somebody needs to take the baton from Reeve, it's about damn time.

One thing I will say about Superman's jelled hair look is that I think the writers felt the need to come up with a way to explain why Superman's hair wouldn't look a DBZ styled afro after he's been flying at supersonic speeds. Now for me it's not something that needs to be explained cos "he's Superman!" would suffice but for those who take themselves too seriously I would say that Superman seems to spontaneously create a gravitational field around himself (Byrne's Superman and Cavill's Superman do that), which means that while he's flying the air should never touch him or his hair or even his cape because he is essentially bringing space towards him rather than going forward into space.........................wow, it's posts like these that make me realize what a GEEK I am. Please ignore this post!

Alex Ross. Slicked, tight, short and wet. That's what they went for in BvS. Man of Steel and Snyder's JL Henry looks more than great.
