Folk, don't fall down the rabbit hole of trying to find a "realistic" or "scientific" explanation for Superman. The reason he looks like a human and has all his powers is because he's fictional, he isn't constrained by the rules of the real world.
Of course he's ludicrous, but that's ok because he's a story. People have accepted him and loved him for eighty years despite being ludicrous.

I had a theory, that Kryptonians were humanoid aliens but did not look exactly like humans, (think similar to Vulcans or Klingons from Star Trek) but due to "convergent evolution theory" they had humanoid form.

When Jor El looked for possible Planets where he could send baby Kal El, he found Earth and he sent a probe which collected data and found what Humans looked like and other information (while staying hidden in stealth mode), then Jor El did a few genetic modifications so that his son looked exactly like humans.

So that he would face no difficulty in living among humans as a human.

Our hope is that something can come into fruition like all the recent Ghostbusters stuff. Nobody knew a reboot was even in the works and BOOM: Ghostbuster reboot. BOOM: Ghostbuster teaser. Not saying we need a MoS2 teaser any minute now (we really do) but maybe there's atleast something going on behind the scenes with Supes we don't know about.

Of course. But it's also fun to think of how things might be. But yes, even in thinking if Superman were real, I am still working with "real" and not REAL.

That guy, ViewerAnon, when he was describing the cut he saw, which was pre CGI on the Cavill scenes, he said Cavill had the stache in that scene. So, he got to see it. [shudders]

Like @heatvision38 said, sometimes these kinds of topics are just fun to speculate even if they're not to everyone's liking. Most subjects aren't. Also, sadly, it may be a while before WB scratches that Superman itch for us. So, until then, we've got to make do with what we have—our wits and imaginations.

I always liked the theory that kryptonians knew the secret of our origins but we weren't ready to hear it... that it's either them who started us off, or a higher ancient civilisation that started many planets off.

however, i just think under certain conditions certain traits shine through.

I just wish we went through the origins that clark and his mum made the suit, martha felt too cold in the movies, unlike the lois and clark warmth, i loved that scene it was so fun for a kid to watch.

Same. I really enjoyed the dynamic between Martha and Clark in both MoS and BvS. Diane Lane is such an exceptionally likable woman; her warmth shone through in just about every scene she was in.

That whole scene from the moment Clark's powers went into overdrive to the moment Martha comes in and is the only one able to calm him down just shows how different this guy's childhood was from everyone else and how special it was that he had the Kents. When I watch that scene, I think, if only the El's knew who would find their child all the way out there in the vastness of space.

Are you kidding? I'd rather see a worthless, cringeworthy, beyond stupid and legitimately embarassing telecast of an old, split ended hair crazy lady ranting and swearing about her husband getting screwed..literally.. by alien abductions. Just brilliant!
