BvS Henry Cavill IS Superman - Part 10

Status
Not open for further replies.
Henry's hair is nowhere as thick now, and his hairline is noticeably way more receded nowadays as well. If his baldness keeps progressing at the same rate, he will need some sort of hair "system" (wig, surgery, movie magic, etc.) to not look bald as Superman by the time Justice League rolls around.

Lol WTF. The Hype never lets me down. I haven't checked in here for a while and the first thing I see when I log on is some dude ragging on Cavill's baldness again.

This photo is from this year, right? If so then I guess that djindodbi has a point: the first thing I thought when I saw this pic was 'Jeesh that dude is follically challenged! Someone get him a wig and fast!' Then I had to shield my eyes because the light was bouncing off his bald head. My eyes! My eyes!

Unless I'm blinded by my man-crush on Cavill (No homo. Or no more than 2% homo :word:) the guy clearly has a lot of hair on his head.

And Amy Adams is hot. Not hot for a 39 year old. Just straight up hot.

I look forward to checking in here again soon... You guys better not let me down, there better at LEAST one person discussing Cavill's lack of hair, shortness, thin neck or teeth or whatever. I mean that!! Don't let me down!

Smth I can assure you is that Mandon is nothing like those other two posters. His comments are way too different from the other two... So take out Mandon of the equation.

Thanks for the back up sir..., v kind

I can't say for sure, but that was the speculation is all John. What does Smth mean?

Smth: something :O
Didn't know and neither read those speculations. sorry.... but I've read all the posts of him and those aren't near in the most minnimun of the other topics from the other two guys. His point is totally different, maybe you confuse his name?

LOL I've never seen that shortened version of "something"

I forget what thread it was in but quite a few posters suggested the possibility. I think Mandon and Tobias were agreeing back and forth like post after post and it sent up a red flag to some members as being kind of odd. Although I agree it can be paranoia in some cases from people who have been here long, seeing newer members join up.

Tobias was taking flack for his views, I said people shouldn't give him so much **it for it and :wow:, simply for supporting someone, I was politely informed I was him and he was me, conspiracy kick off.

Sorry for de-rail, just confirming situation, back to Henry....

I didn't noticed that. And yeah that happened before and it was notorious lol... but in this case I doubt it, I mean I'm not sure about it according to what I've seen from him.

I'm one of the guys that think you're a totally different person...
You better not be them :argh: :o :oldrazz: :woot:

AND YEAH!! BACK TO HENRY!!!

DC/WB sucks. Man of Steel sucks because it had too much action and Superman killed more people than Zod during the final battle, Superman never kills and the movie was too dark and serious. Zack Snyder is a hack and so is David Goyer.

Batman v Superman isn't really a sequel to Man of Steel because Man of Steel flopped so hard and got 56% on Rotten Tomatoes. Superman is barely going to be in Batman v Superman and they are going to kill his character off and not bring it back for Justice League or they will recast his character for Justice League because Henry Cavill is a bad actor who is losing his hair and is getting too old for the role. Amy Adams is miscast and too old. Ben Affleck is a bad choice for Batman because DareDevil and Gigli sucked.

Did I miss something?

I strongly disagree. I think their relationship gets much more interesting when she knows. "Will they won't they" romance stuff can only last for so long before being incredibly annoying.

Well, as a guy who was reading comics during their 15+ year marriage, the marriage got incredibly annoying, not to mention stale.

Its not surprising that they went back to them not being married with The New 52 reboot. And they could've kept them together, as the GL and Batman universes were barely changed with the reboot.

Thats probably because you didn't criticize MOS in any way, shape, or form.

Accusing someone of being the same poster is this forum's version of the Salem witch trials....and its often just as illogicial.

Superman felt the full force of that crappy reboot. Is it any surprise many are p****d about it.

As for stale it wouldn't be if writers know how to write a committed, happy couple and there were a that could. I was reading at the time as well some were good some were bad.

Lois Lane has been treated appallingly in the New 52.

I don't mind Clark dating other people before he eventually settles down with Lois, even while he's Superman. I sometimes feel like people expect his love life to be put on hold once he reaches Metropolis because he "should be" with/pining after Lois.

Superman needed that reboot more than anyone else not named Wonder Woman. Grant Morrison's New 52 run was the most refreshing that character had been since...Grant Morrison's All Star Superman. If anything, that line became dull again when they reverted back to 90's style Superman storytelling.

This.

At least in pre crisis, it felt like Superman actually had options.

Lois and Clark are destiny though and should be together, that's why I think the MOS approach of her finding out early works on so many levels.

Just FYI.

We are going from this hairline from MoS:

to this hairline in Dawn of Justice:

There is a clear pattern of continual recession.

Yep I definitely meant them. I just didn't want to use their names.

Yeah, I try not to give them any attention either. I had them on my ignore list for a while but that was pointless, at least in Toby's case since he has a a way of saying things that are so asinine that a conversation quickly develops around them that dominates the discussion in an entire thread (i.e., all that crap about how WB is going kill Superman off and sell the rights to Marvel or reboot him with a different actor).

I think you forgot how Cavil's neck is too thin. Remember a few months ago when that was all the rage?

I think that the narrative "fact" of Lois and Clark is frozen in time, in a lot of people's perceptions. It's like the first time you meet the person you love. Everything else that ever happens to you seems to pour back into that one fulcrum in your story together, when you stood looking at one another there in that moment.

Clark or Lois dating other people, though it is logical and acceptable in its own way, also seems to scream against one of the great, static, facts in the mythology. I can see why people get cross about it.

And? Did you expect his hair to grow down over his face? Do you expect a baby to grow smaller? Do you expect water to freeze in the midday sun?

I expect makeup team or whoever is in charge of aesthetics on multi-million dollar franchise movie sets to do their job.

The hair is longer in the first pic and parted further sideways instead of more back like in the second picture. The way he styles his hair on his own shows that it looks plenty full, but yeah the stylists sometimes don't take into account the shape of head and how to naturally style it.
