I thought that Warner Brothers was hesitant to move forward with him. These things must be true, because I read them on this forum and they were reported by zryson.

Nah, Batman's close but it's not the same buzz, IMO.

With Superman it's much more scrutinized than any other fictional character.

Nah, it's Batman. Especially this time around... with the Nolan/Bale trilogy setting the bar in general regarding comic book adaptations, Batman is the benchmark now and Affleck's Batman will be THE most scrutinized character/performance period.
