I wonder if Henry will have to go through the same intense regimen that he underwent for MOS as we get closer to principal photography.

I would think that Henry is still somewhat in good shape but then again, it was awhile back when he had concluded filming for MOS.

I don't think he has to start from scratch like last time. He's already been working with Twight during MFU filming. Twight is back home. Cavill is done filming. So I figure he has the next two months to focus on working out around the clock.

Reading the latest draft of the abrams script which is much better than the crap original draft, the end fight scene bw superman and ty zor is absolutely ACE and so much better than the man of steel one. First supes really kicks his ass big time which was great to see but they also show epic destruction with supes saving people. Ty zors throwing trucks and objects at people and supes is saving them and also the battle with rouser is brilliant. Much more epic than the tentacle machine from yhe film. The POV shot described of supes flying around the globe so fast then smashing the rouser to bits sounded so flipping awesome. I really wish they would have let jj abrams write the script. His scenes with lois and the action beats were far better, more characteristic and entertaining than what we got. Plus it would have stopped everyone complaining abt supes not saving people

I've been calling Zack Snyder bazarro Superman in my mind.

They do sorta look alike. Zack's just...smaller and older.

And I thought that I was the only one who thought that they look similar, like brothers.

Eh, looks like the Superman version of the Batman 89 suit. The MoS suit is the greatest superhero suit we've ever seen thus far.

Yeah, that FlyBy suit isn't bad, but it reminds me of the Schumacher batsuits... particularly that sonar one in Batman Forever. I'm glad Superman's suit in MOS had more of a chain mail look. Here's how I would rate the top 5 superhero costumes on film thus far:

1. Man of Steel
2. Spider-Man (Raimi)
3. Iron Man
4. Batman (Burton)
5. Batman (TDK/TDKR)

I agree with your top 3. TAS suit looks just fine but I perfer Raimi's because I love the silver webbing.

I think that almost Superman suit is too shiny like a toy and it looks too much like armor. Superman doesn't need armor. Again it's not bad but those are the flaws as I see them.

Yeah, it looks too plastic. I'm glad we got the Superman suit that we did. It's flawless, IMO.

That embelm looks like nacho cheese and salsa. The more I stare it it, the more it looks like the melted cheese intermingling with the chunky sauce and oozing down the blue plate. And it makes me hungry

I'm not in love with the yellow on the shield either, but it doesn't take away from the other great aspects of the suit. I would say MOS suit is the best superhero costume along with Thor, the first Spider-Man movie costumes and the 89 Batman costume. The ASM suit really looked ugly to me.

Yes. He has infact been training since August. Since August, Twight has flown with him everywhere - to MOS premiere in Japan to the filming of U.N.C.L.E. in London and Italy. So he is already into the 5th month of his training.

I'd say the chances of him having another shirtless scene are strong, Snyder will surely reward all his hard work lol. And Affleck will most likely have one as well, and with all the skin Wonder Woman will obviously show, might it be too much?

There seem to have been people expecting him to stay in Superman shape when he wasn't playing Superman and I never got that expectation. I guess that's the Hugh Jackman effect. Cavill will be fine in whatever the hell the next film is called, he knows what he has to do to get in Superman shape.

I learned something interesting about Cavill today.

I was at a friend's house watching Once Upon a Time, and she was a huge Twilight nerd back in the day. Apparently when Stephenie Meyer wrote Twilight, she was visualizing young Cavill (then 19 or 20 or so) as the inspiration for Edward Cullen.

My friend said that it's obvious when reading the books that young Cavill is a perfect match.

I read the books but I never picture any actor for any character when I read. Henry is gorgeous so it's not surprising that she based Edward's perfect looks on his.

Heh, I'm so glad that they didn't cast Henry in Twilight. He said he never auditioned for it anyway, but I'm glad that the producers didn't go after him for it.

Because who knows? We might have seen Henry as Edward and Robert Pattinson as Superman.
