Cavill should be happy they did not cast a big star as WW like say Jolie or somebody. In that case the movie would have truly been out of his hands.

I agree with all of that. As for Cavill's Clark, I'm thinking they may make him more of the "nerdy cool" type. It's in to be a geek these days, and the way he was dressed at the end of MOS seemed to indicate that they might be going that route. Instead of dressing and acting like someone who stepped out of the 1940s (like Reeve's Clark kinda did), I think Cavill's Clark will be more of a nerdy hipster type, always playing with his iPad and such.

Film 2 itself is JLA. I mean you have the trinity, so that's almost JLA in itself.

People are definitely jumping the gun. For all we know Affleck may only have 20 minutes of screen time. We're still relatively in the dark about this.

I also think that too many people are assuming that each character is meant to have their own movies in the way that Marvel does their universe. If we remove the superhero stereotype, this could just be another saga in the way that Star Wars and Lord of the Rings are. It wouldn't be about individual character stories, but more about progressing the universe. I hope that makes sense, heh.

I'm not calling it that. I haven't thought of it like that since the Batman announcement. I think it's anything but a Superman movie. Seems like JL to me.

But I think that the pic you posted above/earlier is a great example of how much Cavil really resembles the character and I hope that the look that he has regarding his hair style in that picture is what they go with for the film.

I saw your post before, but didn't comment because I was too busy pouting about poor Cav-el's sequel becoming JL.
