Yes he is and I love it. Bc in the end Batman seeing how wrong he was might sway the public view of him too.

Very possible

I agree too. And I was one of those who felt concern that Batman would. But like you said with all the super imagery I am more comfortable as a superman fan and finally hearing him speak in that last trailer I am more comfortable as a superman fan.

Yes definitely, cannot wait for the film

Breakdown:

Bruce Wayne owns Clark Kent (trailer 2).

Batman owns Superman in the mech suit: Both CC and Trailer 2
Superman owns Batman without even having to fight him. TV SPOT

Batman has the best lines-"Tell me, do you bleed? You will"-Chris Terrio
Superman has the most iconic images- Larry Fong

The costume, I think is a tie, though Batman has the advantage of being completely new.

Wonder Woman had a cooler entrance than Batman and Superman (CC and Trailer 2)

Aquaman is probably gonna be a big surprise, as is cyborg.

Who wins?

The audience :yay:

"Stand Down. If i wanted it. You'll be dead already."
I think that's how Terrio beats the Batgod zealots in the head. Kinda wake up call.

The next scene after batman hits him, Superman levitate and ram him?
Batman eat floor in the rain? Both from trailer 2

That "***** please face" on TV Spot 1 of Superman, and left him to talk by himself?

Interesting, I personally don't think either of them has done anything to outshine the other.
They both impressed me in the party scene where they verbally joust.

It'll come down to if the person in question is a bigger Superman or Batman fan, really.

Cavill as Clark was so damned authentic and perfect in that party scene  I actually felt Affleck had to exert a bit more effort to keep up on his level there :D

Props to Affleck for adding an accent and talking a deeper voice than he usually talks IRL.

Bout an alien who could burrn the whole place downn.

Don't believe everything you hear, suwn.

:D

i have the total opposite opinion. Superman should be supreme. I think it would have been better making clark/supes look atleast half a head bigger then he actually is.

I prefer this as well, Superman should be equal height with Batman but tower over most everyone else.
I wonder the size difference between him and Mamoa.

They should have never have killed off Jonathan Kent. Clark should have saved him. And the conversation that ensued after would have been a great tool for character development for both characters.

(Clark could use his powers with the cover of the tornado)

I disagree, JK should have died but not in such a cliche stupid Hollywood trying to make it deeper than it is moment. Clark could have been far from his parents helping others, realizes his dad needs him but doesn't make it in time to save him; lesson being that with all his powers he can't save everyone. As is JKs death was really a moronic moment for both father and son, especially when you take in that it didn't stop Clark from saving people over the years.

While Amy is at the Golden Globes, Henry is admiring socks.

Replace Stephen Amell with Cavill and Brandon Routh with Affleck and you can get a good a idea how they look next to Momoa:

Wow, and Routh is a pretty tall guy in his own right. yowsa

I for some reason, love the idea of Aquaman being the biggest member of the league.

Routh looks like a giant next to an average height woman.

ha

he is 6'2". same height with batfleck.

I think the DCEU version doesn't have it. At least, based on Goyer's comments, and the fact that if Superman did have it, he would've used it.

When did they say this? I'm cool with it ... Always thought the freeze breath was meh. What were his comments and is there a transcript?

I wouldnt mind him being absent some powers, freeze breath/super breath isn't necessarily going to come up as useful in these films, unless he's going to freeze a meteor or blow DoomsZod away.

I think breath powers will be used eventually because they are very helpful in 'helping city people'

I know it's a stupid thing to moan about when discussing Superman, but I always thought those powers were a bit daft.

I like full-fat Superman with all his regular powers. Having said that, every time I see a life action Superman blowing, I do have a chortle because of their facial expression.

If he doesn't have (or never uses) super or freeze breathe, I'll survive ;)
