I'm not saying Routh isn't, but it's nice to see that Cavill is a genuinely nice person.

I haven't heard anything negative about any of the Superman actors. Brandon has handled his replacement with dignity, Tom is shy but seems like a good guy. I always here good stories about Christopher.

I think a Justice League movie can show the leadership and mature qualities of Superman while allowing for the best superhero story on film. Chris Terrio seemed like he spent the full two years working on a JL script (he just completed it now) and Ben Affleck might rewrite certain passages to make it even BETTER. Of course no one can do superhero action like Zack, and his bold approach will only make things memorable in the long run, no matter what one thinks about it.

Perfect indeed!

That might be my favorite Supes promo pic.

I think Batman needs to lead the JL, he has to have relevance against the super powers he's surrounded by. Leadership and detective work are going to be his strengths. I don't think he's exactly going to be the guy that grounds them in humanity.

Henry Cavill after reading some of the posts in this thread. :o:oldrazz:

herolee! :funny:

I promise I will try to stop being so naughty. I don't want to get in trouble.

hmm... why did he have to do the comic shopping himself?

The League is generally a democracy which is why it works better when there are seven members. That said Superman is generally considered the leader or champion of the JL. He leads but he doesn't have to give orders. He leads by simply being who he is. The main reason people trust the JL or even allow it to exist is because Superman is front and center.

If a picture is worth a thousand words, then I would love to see what a picture would be worth if we managed to raise up enough funds to send you to Comic Con this year and pose in a picture with Henry.haha

Now assuming that shot of Superman isn't from the "Knightmare Sequence", then it's definitely great to see on how Superman has become more confident since MOS.

If the league were a company Superman would be the CEO and Batman would be the Chief Operations Officer.

Well, he's fighting a mere human bent on stopping him, instead of fighting someone who wants to destroy all the people he can.

These two scenes do it for me.

To me, the shot of Superman's eyes filling with hope as he flies into the world engine is one of the best moments in the genre in terms of acting. You can practically feel him holding onto the fact that he's mankind's only hope and not just letting that be a burden, but embracing it.

That World Engine scene was perfect. That's the main reason I disagree when people say there was no emotion in MOS. Perhaps there wasn't enough of those types of moments, but they were there. That particular one was quintessential superman.
