I'm noticing a pattern at SHH, it's either say something about Henry's hair or debating MOS for the millionth time that details every god damn thread. Give it a god damn rest please!

This was only a few months back at the Man from Uncle premiere

Wow that really is a beautiful human :hmr:

If Henry wasn't Superman and with WB favourites to get the James Bond franchise, I'd put money on him being the next Bond.

New pic of Supes, I take back what I said earlier :oldrazz:

In two months time he might just have the best hair length for Superman so far.

I hope they go more with a longer version of his hair now instead of a slicked back look for the justice league movie

I honestly think he's got Bond in the bag if the distribution rights go to WB. He'd be perfect for the role.

The question is whether he wants to go back and forth between Bond and Clark for at least 5 years.

Casting him as Bond risks Ritchie activating his U.N.C.L.E. option... sort of the way Jennifer Lawrence's rising star increased her X-Men commitments. The WB would have to work something out with Ritchie so that doesn't happen first.

Presenting Brit Award alongside supermodel Jourdan Dunn --she must be wearing killer heels 'cause she's about 5'10'':

Considering UNCLE didn't do well, I don't see that being an issue.

Actually, that makes it more of an issue, not less. If UNCLE had done gangbusters then a sequel is assured and you'd have trouble luring Cavill away or fitting Bond into his schedule... you'd also see it coming from a long ways off as all franchise films are carefully scheduled.

However, if Cavill lands Bond and is suddenly the most bankable spy of all-time... and you have a contract which puts him in a legal obligation to be in your spy movie... it's not going to be hard to rustle up a $50M budget for an UNCLE sequel, coming up from out of nowhere (something that doesn't happen with hugely successful films), and basically steal him away.

The whole reason options exist is to ensure the performance of an actor who might otherwise be reluctant to return. If actors could be relied upon to return only if everyone was happy about it, then there's no reason to create a legally binding contractual option.
