Seriously let his keep the beard as Superman. Have this dude above stroll into a room.

Maybe they could give us a lost in Space Superman story where his beard grows ala Superman Exile

God... An adaptation of EXILE... Don't tease a man with what he can never have.

Clark:

Rescues people from a burning oil rig.
Saves a school bus full of kids.
Saves Lois from the robot and the escape pod.
Saves Martha from Zod.
Saves Colnel Hardy from being killed by Faora.
Catches a soldier before he hits the ground.
Destroys the world engine, saving the planet.
Saves the family from Zod's heat vision.

...but Superman doesn't save anyone in MoS, right?

Don't forget you missed out the bit where he killed one man at the end for the safety of all humanity not through choice but as a last resort, and the guilt he felt could be seen & heard but choose to be ignored by audience & critics alike.

I hope Cavill is better in BvS than he was in MOS. I thought he was ok in MOS, but not great. I really want him to do well, not only because it means that there is a better chance that I will enjoy the film, but also because I think Cavill comes across very well in interviews. He seems very nice, humble and funny, and he also seems very passionate about the character and proud about having the role of Superman.

He didn't crack any jokes while doing all that saving, so they don't count. :oldrazz:

Reading through... I have a bad feeling all those wishing for an "inspirational speech" in the Senate (and... It is the U.S. Senate, it's not a trial, it's not a court house, it's Superman addressing congress at a Senate hearing. THAT IS NOT A TRIAL... Sorry... It bugs the crap out of me when folks don't pay attention...) should prepare to be disappointed. I don't think that what Superman says is going to go off without a hitch, or even be that long. If what we all suspect happens at that hearing then I think it would be planned out so as to NOT allow Superman any chance to explain himself for what ever reason the hearing has been called.

I wasn't necessarily expecting a prolonged speech, but I am hoping he conducts himself in a dignified manner throughout whatever hearing takes place, even if he doesn't get to say much. It says something about his character that he chose to show up at all; he doesn't think himself above such things. In MOS, he had started developing this confident, but cordial and obliging manner when faced with human authority that I hope continues.

I just want him to say something...and I think he does judging by what she says in that Holly Hunter interview we got today.
I love that she called him "sir". lol

I'm kind of hoping that we'll at least have something akin to what happened in "Skyfall" when M was making that big speech at her hearing, with James Bond and the Film's Villain both making their way to M's location.
