Of course it is 100% strong hard muscle. Cavill's pecs are so hard that if you hit them with a sword, the sword would blunt. This is the reason he fought shirtless in that movie.

No but seriously, people think your pecs can get too developed. Some fitness enthusiasts are trying to address it and counter it.
