I agree in a certain respect. I wish my friends would introduce me to girls, considering that most of them have girlfriends. I mean...come on...their girlfriends don't have any friends who are single? Give me a break!

But if the guy wants to get laid so badly he just needs to go out there and do it himself, it'll happen. He may not bag a supermodel chick off the bat but it'll hopefully be human, female...preferably.

Edit.. I guess this guy must be extremely shy. Iused to be really shy with girls but eventually I GREW UP and you get over that real quick. Maybe it's just a phase he needs to get through on his own is all.

I think sometimes guys aren't really that helpful when it comes to hooking up friends, especially if they don't know what you like in a woman. Then there are other times when you are dead serious about wanting a girlfriend and they'll make a joke out if it.

He doesn't drink, he said, but the alcohol can be given to the ladies. That's what I do. As long as someone in the back and forth is a tad tipsy, you'll have a better chance.

How would you solve this? Its not a easy situation but it would take both sides to do something about it.

Yes and eventually he'll accept help from friends in about 15 years. But for now you may need to force it on him for his own good. You see this person may very well be suffering from the same psychosis as a friend of mine. He hasn't gotten laid in almost 20 years. The only reason why he even got laid in the first place was because he was lucky enough to have a girl ask him out and force sex on him. He'll never initiate a conversation about wanting to have sex with women or some hot chick on the street. Nor will he even hang out one on one with friends. They have to pressure him as a group before he'll go outside of his mom's home just to do something. This is simply not normal in any sense of the word. My friend is too far gone now but maybe there's still a chance for this guy to have a normal life.

Well, of course not EXACTLY like that but there will be further chances like that in the future. I've had plenty of chances like that with girls and I've passed because sometimes it doesn't feel right. If he really wanted to do it he would have nailed that girl. There's something holding him back and if you're that concerned about it you should talk to the dude about it.

This one girl - whom I met at someone's apartment during a party - had a thing for me. A few days later, she was with my buddies at the time, and they had tried getting in contact with me via phone (which was on silent and not in my line of sight ), saying that I had a 99.9% chance of sleeping with her that night. Since they couldn't get to me by my cell phone, they tried stopping by my house - and they thought I wasn't home after they got there - then they tried stopping by where I work, and I wasn't there.
