Ted was peeling the label off of the bottle in that moment, which Marshall said he always does whenever he's nervous, so I'd say he was more nervous than distraught. Why would he be nervous? Possibly because it was a big day and he knew he had to give another wedding toast, which never go well as we saw in the premiere.

Wasn't one of the complaints, way back, that Robin was too much like Barney? Anyway, I'm sure Barney wants to have a family some day. Remember how he was all into adopting a baby? And Robin has a strict, no children policy. Not even adopted.

Yeah, I'd like to think Ted is completely over Robin now. Plus, I know people are mentioning that the bride asks to see Ted too, which might mean its Robin. But I'd like to think its Quinn having second thoughts and she asks Ted for some honest advice, in which case he'll be a bro and talk about how great Barney is and how happy she'll be with him.

That's why I liked Nora because in a way Robin was also the female Barney, only a little more open about her honest feelings. I felt like their relationship helped Barney open up to the idea of relationships again, but Nora changed him as a person because it brought out that side he always hid.

That's why I liked Nora because in a way Robin was also the female Barney, only a little more open about her honest feelings. I felt like their relationship helped Barney open up to the idea of relationships again, but Nora changed him as a person because it brought out that side he always hid.

But I never felt like Barney truly loved Nora or Quinn for that matter. Robin on the other hand....Plus I feel like Nora wanted Barney to be something he isn't. Robin knew him and accepted him for who he is.

Yeah, although Ted does say she opens up to children after hanging around his kids. But yeah, I'd imagine that Barney would want his own kids at some point and not have to settle for adoption.

They glossed over Barney and Lily's fight. Though I suppose it was resolved in the last season episode.

yeah, I wasn't expecting too much about the fight. It was pretty much resolved the last time it was brought up.

I loved the title cards of the names the Barney kept thinking up for their "legendary" night. And some good emotional stuff for Barney.

My favorite joke of the night was the one with the security guard's band and future Ted probably not getting back to it. Great job of the writers poking fun at themselves.

ted never remembered why they started fighting, he always had the....um..um...what? mentality for that story.

I thought they were fighting cause Barney called her fat?

Not a fan of the Robin subplot tonight, it's a bit out there. Although to be fair, I felt the same about Marshall's dad last season and it really fit the season as a whole so we'll see...

Barney will beg her to stop stripping. she will not. end of the relationship. jump 1 week in the future Robin and Barney will get married.

We saw that flash forward where Barney was listening to something over the phone at what looked like a casino. I believe ghe creators have said that we would know who Barney is getting married to this season but that didn't mean that we would get to the wedding this season, I'm thinking next year is a year building up to that.

Yeah, I think they will reveal his wife in the finale of this season, and something tells me its going to be a twist, like just when it seems like Barney and Quinn are going to make it, they do something like reveal Robin as the bride. I'd hate it if they did that, but I feel like its going to be a surprise cliffhanger that keeps us wondering what happens in the future.
