We know that "The Mother" plays the Bass guitar from the Girls vs Suits episode. Maybe they did take certain aspects of "The Mother" and gave them to Robin in each flash forward?

good episode.but they did make a mistake when Robin said that she never gave up for a boyfriend. the dog episode was an important episode in season 2.

yeah I caught that and also I found it to be a bit of contridiction considering she force Ted to get rid of everything a girlfriend gave to him. Also, I loved the scene were Barney started breaking his cups, very good scene. Hope Ted meets the mother soon.

Next week is the episode with Ted in a dress (which was teased last season). If last season's episode is an indicator, the episode will also focus on a fight between Barney and Lily (Lily was made at Barney for some reason that Ted could not remember until him being in a dress sparked his memory but he revealed that the fight took place when Lily was pregnant and thus said he would get back to it).

4 episodes left. they spend a lot time on Quinn. Barney and Quinn live together. but i just dont think the wedding episode will be that simple.

there is this scene with Marshall and Barney in the casino. Barney has the duck tie on and is on the phone. his face. it could be that Quinn breaks up with him. so in season 7 Quinn breaks up with Barney and Robin broke up with Kevin. grrrrrrrrrr

I like Quinn. I don't want her to break up with Barney. We've seen some good progress for him, becoming accepting of relationships. I'd love to see his wedding be a real wedding, instead of a greencard marriage a scam.

That would suck though. I was rooting for Norah and that ended. And he's taken his relationship with Quinn really far right now. I mean, come on, they fart in front of each other. And they just really fit together, I would really hate it if we get some sort of twist before the wedding. But heck, as long as he doesn't end up with Robin I'll live.

yeah, I liked Nora a lot. But she's gone, and it was a good lesson for Barney. but Quinn is a good replacement.

they have spend way to much time on Barney/Robin in season 7 to ignore it.

Well, they better. They tried it, they burned and crashed. Barney tried to get back and Robin stomped on his heart, it's done.

She's got a similar twisted streak like Barney and she does the nasty in full Strorm Trooper gear. She's a keeper.

I read that they had NPH cover his left hand on purpose during the flash forward scene to conceal whether he is wearing a wedding ring or not. I didn't notice it when I saw the episode but I thought it was interesting to note.

Quinn isn't going to be the bride Quinn is a red herring. My money is still on Robin because of how tortured Ted was at the wedding. Ted looked like he had been punched in the gut. If it was Quinn he wouldn't have been so distraught.

So wait, the actual wedding isn't going to happen until next season right, which I assume is when Ted meets the mother. I know we'll see who the bride is at the end of this season, but could it be possible that if Robin is the bride, that next season would focus on them getting to the wedding?

But yea, I also wanted Nora to be the bride and wished they kept her around, but now with Quinn, I do like her and hope she is the bride. I just can't get behind a Robin/Barney pairing.

Barney and Robin just doesn't work. They have tried and it failed. Quinn and Barney works and I hope she's the bride.

I didn't think Ted looked tortured at the wedding. He looked fine.

So, I guess Marshall is distraught as well? Barney is getting married before him. And I'm sure that makes him question his life right now.
