Superman Returns How many FEAR the theatrical trailer for "SR" will end up beeing a TOTAL LET-DOWN?!

he is bigger than batman. but that doesnt mean that it will make more money.
i fear that general public wont like the action in SR.

I find that unlikely

the sight of superman saving that plane is going to have the same effect as Supes saving lois with the helicopter in the first movie.

Thrilling.

Or spiderman saving people on the train in spiderman 2.

Although u haven't seen the action yet you fear that people wont like it. WOW thats amazing intuitive skills.
you have more types of action. the action when two supervillains fight. and action when a guy saves people from eartqueakes. car action and so on.

and we know what type of action will be in this movie.

to be honest. i think that if you have a supervillain you can have action when superman fights teh villain and action when he saves people. and since there is no supervillain superman wil lonly save people. so how much action will there be? the plane sequence and the earthqueake scenes.

and thats it right?

well he is almost going to die through the hands of lex luthor..and he is Returning after nearly 20 years off the big screen.. a super villian is to much.. this movie is about relationships.. i don't see room for a super villian yet.

Hope we get one in the sequel:up: And please no Brainiac and Zod. I want to see something out of the ordinary.

i would give lex for about 5 minuts super powers for a 5 minute fight.

It seems that Smallvilles Lex Luthor might be getting Super Powers of his own soon. (during the Finale it seems) Would the new Franchise copy over that ?

Well played. Thrilling indeed. I picked up the new edition of Sci Fi magazine with Routh on the cover and one of Brians friends is a writer for the mag and he didnt an interview and had this to say. "As a ship navigates a stretch of canyon, a massive structure comes into view. Loaded with temporary pre-vis shots, its not the CGI that thrills me. Its the sight of the monument that looms in front of the ship, a once noble symbol now and object of dread. The image brilliantly conveys the heart of Superman's personaly tragedy: the destruction of his home and the loss of his parents.................Beyond effects, beyond action-although the movie has loads of each- Superman Returns is a love story, funny, warm, and unbelievably human"

Randolph Giudice, Sci Fi Magazine.

This magazine has a really good article on Returns, I definately suggest buying it or at least taking a quick read over it.

i feel like this is just going to be the biggest let down of the year, i feel depressed and want a trailer now in the hope of proving me wrong.

I'm not all that concern the theatrical trailer will be crap & not good. I think it will be so awesome, that it will give me woody. If it don't give me woody, then something is wrong. :p

^LMAO. I was hoping that I would come back this weekend and see the trailer online.:( Trying to be patient . . .

The teaser was great and I think the trailer will be even better.

Today was a good news day with the insider info and the Ottman interview.
