At this time last year we had TONS of Batman Begins stuff, and people we're still complaining about the marketing for that film.......
bgshw44 said:show the trailer with all the big may movies, and then all out tv billboard promotional tie ins in June up till the release. There is no competition besides POTC 2, but to advertise now when you have the big May movies is a waste of money.

Excel said:thats because milkman, in todays box office, the ONLY marketing that has ANY effect on the public happens in the 4 weeks leading up to release date. at this point, april, batman had ton sof stuff. but uh-oh, its june and buzz/hype is low cause "opps! we already released EVERYTHING".
w.b. has learned from their mistakes;, cause you how much money they have left in the marketing budget? a LOT. 75-80%. thats around 53 million of its 70 million u.s makreting budget-thats ALOT OF STUFF to release in a 2 month period.
may/june, for superman fans, is going to be C.R.A.Z.Y.
